This is a massive match. A london derby vs Chelsea, a top 4 competitor and a rival. Verts will play both.

If he does play 3 huge games in a week then we are really risking him

Remember when vertonghen was out for a while before and we had to play Wimmer who then played a blinder for about 2 months. First available chance the Jan was brought back in at his expense.

Not sure what the point of this post is but there you go. I suspect those run of games is where we managed to get the £18 million off stoke.

Verts coming back to match fitness at the perfect time. Even though I'd like to see a Eriksen in the team over Son, I think we'll see him on the bench for a fifth successive PL game with Poch still concerned about his fitness. Fresh Lucas is probably a shoo-in for first XI and I think Son could be given a chance here as well.

I think the fact that everyone is choosing a different 3 behind Kane is great, shows the form of our attacking players. For me Alli Lamela and Eriksen are most likely to create and score but also put a shift in over the others (Son too attacking minded, Lucas dangerous but less likely to assist and score)
