Way too early for the thread. Is the team meant to be what we want or what we think it will be?

as others have said what you would like, and unless A&C is going to lock the forum everytime there is an international break you will get post about anything and everything in this break. also this thread starts so quickly after the last match, I'm not even sure if @thinktank clicked it was a break, or he just copies and repeats it to get it up for reasons only he knows, like it's his lucky charm.

annoying thing is he never used to use this format, so each week when he used to start it, I'd copy his post then edit it to what I wanted, and we had 2 very good seasons finishing 3rd (when it should of been 2nd) and then 2nd, so it's his fault I don't post mine much anymore and that we never won the league last season:whistle:

Firstly Rose, Vertonghen, Dembele definitely out. I doubt Trippier or Sanchez will be available with groin and hamstring injuries.

Also Gazzaniga, Foyth, Lamela will be playing late Tuesday night (our Wednesday) for Argentina against Mexico in Mendoza. Realistically they will only get to London on Thursday and train on Friday, so I doubt they will be fresh to play from the start.

Davies, Moura, Son have not been called up and should be fresh to play.

Therefore barring no further injuries and being cautious with who is available I reckon we could see the following team. Close call for me between Eriksen and Dele to start.

Lloris
Aurier Dier Alderweireld Davies
Winks Sissoko
Moura Eriksen Son
Kane

Gazzaniga, Foyth, Walker-Peters, Wanyama, Dele, Lamela, Llorente

Unless Sanchez is back Dier will probably play again in defence against Inter as Foyth is not registered so will be good for him to play in the back even though we might be apprehensive with him playing against Chelsea.

We should turn this into a shoot out

Our defence is a bit shocking but not as shocking as theirs - so turn it into a shoot out, fuck defending and just score a tonne load and hope it is one more goal than them - which should be the outcome given our defence is less shoddy than theirs

I hate international breaks. This is now becoming even more of a joke than ever before. I just want to get at them.

Although if Hazard picks up a slight niggle that keeps him out of our match, I'm suddenly all for it.

Agree its ridiculous. They're spoiling the premier league. Start. Stop. Start. Stop every bloody four or so games. Its crap. Why the fk do we need friendlies a month after you've played some games in a meaningless competetive trophy which was a month after you've just had a world cup???
Fkin shite.
And then wheeling Rooney out to add insult to injury to give him a send off for achieving err... absolutely fk all at international level. Most goals for England??? Whoopy fkin doo. Scoring against dross over a really long period and embarrassingly getting knocked out of tournaments by inferior teams over and over again. Yeah, well done.
He had his time and blew it.
We reach a semi final and ta da he's back for one last hoorah.
Fkin disgrace.
Wanna raise money for charity then have a charity match by all means don't make a pointless friendly even more pointless and belittle getting an England cap.
If any of our players get injured in this shit show I'll be even more pissed off than I am now about this pointless international crap.

Ooh I need to sit down.

Hate the international break. The better we have become, the less useful it has been as we see most of our players spending 180 mins trying not to get hurt

On this thread I think most of us post what we think the team should be, not what it is going to be. If you think there's going to be any ambiguity about your post then it's best to spell out which straight away. Some people add both

Unless it's Thinktank in which case it's definitely what he thinks it should be not will be !

On recent performances Sissoko should be in , personally thought he was our MOTM against Palace, plus he has no international games to worry about.
On a downbeat note looking at how the Chelsea tickets are selling doubt we will get past the 60000 figure, looks like a one third empty Wembley.
