This one's hard to predict, since it will ultimately depend on fitness and fatigue.

Rose has played full time in the last three games, and might not be ready for another full 90. Davies has probably conserved energy playing CB, and as such might get the nod. Trippier has played two full matches in a row coming back from injury as well, so might be a chance for KWP.

Foyth is back from injury as well, so we might see him and Toby pair up again. If Sanchez is ready, he gets the nod alongside Toby though.

In CM we're really short on numbers, so any 2 from Winks, Sissoko and Skipp. Think we might see Winks and Sissoko again. Putting Eriksen back into CM might be an option, but I suspect he is needed further forward.

On current form and fitness permitting, Eriksen, Alli and Son are nailed-on starters behind Kane.

I expect the following:

Lloris
Trippier - Alderweireld - Sanchez - Davies
Sissoko - Winks
Son - Alli - Eriksen
Kane

For me personally this is the game which decides if we really do challenge for the pl this season. If we go to goodison a claim 3pts we are right in their with the games to follow after. Anything less and its top4 and a trophy challenge.

To dare is to do.....lets take 3 points please!

Is Sanchez available? I put him in as others have so presume he is fit.
If not then thats a tough one. I'd probably go Davies over Foyth as he worries me with giving away penalties and dangerous freekicks. Great prospect but away games against decent teams, and Everton are getting there, is not the games to be starting him in (see Arsenal away, as if you need reminding).

Could be tempting to give Kieran a rest or potentially go to a back 3 for this.

If a back four I would go with...

Hugo

KWP - Toby - Davies - Rose

Winks - Sissy - Dele

Lamela - Eriksen

Harry

subs: Son, Moura, Skippy, Tripps, Foyth, Llorente, Gaz

OR - with a back three...

Hugo

Foyth - Toby - Davies

Tripps - Eriksen - Winks - Dele - Rose

Lamela

Harry

subs: Son, Moura, Sissy, Skippy, KWP, Sanchez (if fit), Llorente, Gaz

I can't believe going into the busiest period of the year we're down 3 midfielders (Wanyama, Dier, Dembele), and 3 defenders (Aurier, Verts, Sanchez). Shitty timing to say the least.

He’s back in contention but has been out for a while so might not be ready to start. Having said that Jan was out for a while and went straight back in.

Why do you keep selecting Moura for the left for previous teams he when plays on the right and now selecting Son to play on right even though he’s best down the left?

You could have easily put Eriksen on right??

Gonna have to continue the rotation. I would be surprised to see more of it as Poch will be trying to keep everyone as fresh as possible.

I’d be amazed if Lamela does not start as he was rested mid week.

I'd like to see Gazza start. His kicking is quick and accurate. Gives us another dimension against teams pressing.

More chance of getting a flight out of Gatwick than Hugo being dropped by Poch, and rightly so......can't believe this is even being discussed.

Why not? Its not putting Hugo down the pecking order or dropping him, but its a team game and Gazzaniga has attributes that are better than Hugo's where Poch should be able to utilize for tactical reasons without any ridicule.

Saying that I would play Hugo Sunday

I think he'll play Foyth alongside Toby. I also think he'll play Sissoko in the middle again, probably next to Winks or even give Ollie Skipp another runout, though I suspect Skipp is more likely to feature at Bournemouth at Wembley.

Kane will lead the line but he may rest Son and go with Lamela, Dele and either Moura/Eriksen with the other to come on after 60min if we're not winning, or 80min if we are.

Also think Davies will line up instead of Rose at LB and KWP be given a runout.
