I expect the following:

Lloris
Trippier - Alderweireld - Sanchez - Davies
Sissoko - Winks
Son - Alli - Eriksen
Kane

I agree with this, except for Rose instead of Davies. The only question for me is will he put Alli in behind two strikers again, which worked very well at Arsenal, forcing Eriksen to play a bit left and deep. Or will he go with this standard 4231.

This is a tough fixture, but we have a bit of a hex over the Toffees. It should be a good one to watch.

I hear that everton are hoping that gomez and richarlison can play after illness during the week?

A complete non story or is there a decent chance they may not start/play? Big loss if so.

Tough game. As we’re not playing until Sunday, full strength team. Would have started Davies (who’s been excellent) again at CB, but need to rotate with Rose for Bournemouth.

Sissoko is obviously getting more game time due to injuries but it is interesting how he affects our play. He is much more mobile than any of our other dm alternatives which means that he can cover the space left by attacking players across the field. But his real strength is his running with the ball because it breaks lines. Although Dembele and Winks can both do it, both tend to run from slightly deeper and release the ball into wide positions. Sissoko tends to run from inside the opponents half and releases the ball inside into dangerous areas on the edge of the box. It is no surprise that he has created a number of goals doing just that. What he lacks in technical ability, he more than makes up for in terms of his actual impact on games.

In games like this, he will be invaluable. He is actually a huge part of why we have managed to keep grinding out the results despite our injury issues and fixture congestion.

The long and the short of it is that Sissoko absolutely has got to start this game.

Lloris
KWP Sanchez Toby Rose
Winks Sissoko
Lucas Lamela Alli
Kane

Subs
Gazziniga Trips Davies Skipp Eriksen Son Llorente

Sanchez for this one to deal with Richarlison's pace then Foyth can come in when we need to break down Bournemouth.

Skipp also to come in against Bournemouth for Sissoko as Sissoko is more effective in away games for the counter and more of an engine needed.

Lamela needed for this one and I would play Lucas as he played only an hour v Arsenal. Eriksen can come off the bench but would rather start him at home to break teams down and Lucas may be more effective away from home with more space to play in

KWP will give us more of an engine up the flanks compared to Trips who again is kore valuable at home with his passing/crossing ability

This is the biggest fixture out of the next three matches so I think we've got to go full strength. For me, this is our best side at the moment with current injuries. I personally think that Toby is much better and more confident on the right side of the defense, so I'm going to opt for Davies over Sanchez in this one. I am a bit worried about Trippier matching up with Bernard and Richarlison though. I can't wait for Aurier to get fit again..

Going for something a bit different here.
......................Lloris
.............Foyth Toby Davies
KWP...............................Rose
......................Winks
.....Sissoko..................Dele
.......................Son
..................... Kane

Watching Eriksen on Wednesday he just looked in a bit of discomfort running. Same with Trippier he is being managed by the boss.
If we can get away with playing them both for less here it will help. Effectively a 3 6 1 with a diamond midfield but hey if Barca can do it occasionally so can we;)

Could be tempting to give Kieran a rest or potentially go to a back 3 for this.

If a back four I would go with...

Hugo

KWP - Toby - Davies - Rose

Winks - Sissy - Dele

Lamela - Eriksen

Harry

subs: Son, Moura, Skippy, Tripps, Foyth, Llorente, Gaz

OR - with a back three...

Hugo

Foyth - Toby - Davies

Tripps - Eriksen - Winks - Dele - Rose

Lamela

Harry

subs: Son, Moura, Sissy, Skippy, KWP, Sanchez (if fit), Llorente, Gaz

I can't believe going into the busiest period of the year we're down 3 midfielders (Wanyama, Dier, Dembele), and 3 defenders (Aurier, Verts, Sanchez). Shitty timing to say the least.

Im not sure Trips is need of a rest
