With Eriksen being out, I would go for:

Gazzaniga
Trippier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Winks Dembele
Lucas..... Lamela........ Alli
Kane
All 3 behind kane can easily swap places and rotate if needed and all capable of pushing into the box if Kane has come short

If Lloris is fit, I would play him in this game to get ready for barca.

Eriksen out
I would be interested to try Winks out in Eriksen's position, as he has quick feet and an eye for forwarded passes.

Gazza
Trippier Sanchez Jan Rose
Dier Dembele
Moura Winks Son
Kane

With Eriksen out this is the perfect chance to put Lamela in the number 10 role, which I'd be delighted with.

My team would be.....

Gazza
Trippier Toby JV Rose
Winks Dembele
Lucas Lamela Dele
Kane

Whiteman, Sanchez, KWP, Dier, Wanyama, Son, Llorente

I like Son coming off the bench at the moment. He has such a positive impact using his pace and skill to run at a tired RB.

What I think Poch will do.....

Gazza
Trippier Toby JV Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Dele Lucas
Kane

I'm fine with this because Dele supports Kane well in attack, my issue would simply be making sure that Lamela gets on the ball in more central areas at times to pick passes. He has good vision and ability to play key passes through the lines, just as he did last night.

I'd usually be crapping it when Eriksen doesn't play but Lamela's form is making me feel much calmer about it.

I see no reason why we won't go there and get a good win.

Injury news from Spurs and defender Serge Aurier has joined the absentee list after picking up a thigh injury in Wednesday night's Carabao Cup game against Watford.

Goalkeeper Michel Vorm remains sidelined along with Christian Eriksen for Saturday's game against Huddersfield.

However there is a chance Hugo Lloris could figure

The above taken from the BBC website. If true I would have Lloris back in to get a game before the midweek CL game Vs Barca.

I'd probably go with this as well. He'll more than likely start Dier though and I fear he'll go with a diamond with Lamela behind Kane and Lucas.

Gazza

Trippier Toby Verts Rose

Dier Winks Alli

Lamela Moura (Eriksen injured?)

Kane

Winks needs to be central. Alli is more energetic than Eriksen and suited better for the cm. Can then run up and support the am2. I went with Dier over Dembele as I think he disrupts play better. Good option off the bench.

Games are won and lost in the middle. We need, desperately, some creativity in the middle.

I like it. But i thought wanyama looked way off the pace yesterday. I'd have Dier there instead but otherwise agree. Wanyama off the bench if Eric is having a bad day. Also went with winks in a central position to get the ball moving. Especially in the absence of Eriksen. But 3 in the middle should help stop the dull long ball and help shield the defense a bit.

Got to wonder if Eriksen has been carrying that injury all season and we are using these (perceived) easier games to give him time to recover.

Moura and Son off the bench. Not many players better than these two at stretching defences, but I don't think they'll be able to do that in the first half. Huddersfield will sit deep and defend for their lives. We need creativity from the off.

so you never saw the highlights from their game away to Leicester at the weekend when leading I think. they had a corner and Leicester scored on the counter due to every outfield player in Leicesters half:ROFLMAO:

Considering our midfield has been fairly woeful recently, I'd drop Eriksen in there and get him to try and get us some go-forward.

Gazza

Aurier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose

Eriksen Wanyama

Moura Dele Lamela

Kane

so your the 1 that injured Eriksen by dropping him in there, lads it's talkshows fault:mad:
