I’d go same setup as against Liverpool. Dier to protect Trippier. Dele and Eriksen playing deeper.... View attachment 35587
yes I like that Dier can help out Trippier and Verts Davies if needed. Verts and Sanchez just need to watch they don’t leave to much of a gap in the middle!
To be honest I would be confident in this game with a full fit squad but Unfortunately Toby is out and Wanyama is far from fit. Take a draw to be honest.

I agree Trippier is a worry from a defensive point of view tomorrow night, he's so easy to get in behind and United will target him, surely Pochettino will have some plan to mitigate against that.

But Trips has got a great cross and adds plenty to our attack.

The bottom line is we simply have to be up for this tomorrow night.

Honestly not so happy with our current options and the form some players (and Poch) are in at the moment.
Our key players need to be up for it.

And I would be glad not to see any combination of Wanyama - Dier - Sissoko in CM.
Has to be Wanyama + Eriksen/ Dembele for me.

vertonghen?

Fuck yeah, sorry, started off typing out a 3CB line up, then changed my mind and went 433, and accidentally put Dier/Sanchez as the pair.

OK third go:

Lloris
Trippier---------Sanchez-----------JV-----------Davies

Eriksen-------------Wanyama------------Dembele

Lamela--------------Kane---------------Son

With the team available i look at them and think that they're better pretty much all over the pitch apart from kane and lukaku. Trippier and davies scare me against fast players, wanyama is a bit hit and miss at the moment and the whole team has seemingly forgotten how to pass the ball forward.

With the likes of pogba, sanchez and martial I'm very concerned.

Looking forward with some trepidation to the game tonight. Worried because ManU will not come at us but if we can summon the game we produced against Dortmund, Real and Liverpol then we can beat anyone. This looks like the best ManU squad to play us for a while. A win by us today though will really lift the team before the game at Anfield on Sunday

Not as essential as the next two and would take a draw, but of course a win would be incredible.

Just hope we dont fall into their trap as they will no doubt look to counter attack and with Lingard, Martial, Sanchez, Rashford, Lukaku etc they have more than enough pace to cause us problems

Take a draw? Fuck that, we need to win and it's not like it's at OT.

We're more than capable of beating them if we're up for it.

Correct but seems to think hes andrea pirlo on the ball since moving into cm. Gets caught out too easy and has been poor this season.
He needs bringing down a peg or two. Constantly making stupid errors leading to chances for opposition. Id much prefer verts and sanchez in a flat 4 and wanyama at cm

Sanchez running at dier:LOL:

We don't need to bring him down a peg or two busconductor does that for us.
