I think we still win...

We beat City without Kane last year.

Fuck those boring Utd bastards.

Aurier, Toby, Sanchez, Jan, Davies
Winks, beast
Alli
Son
Llorente

Can't see us scoring tbh, we'll keep it, they will counter
Narrow defeat, set piece or a pen, Aurier sliding in on Rashford

If we play Llorente up top (which I think we will have to because Son can't provide a focal point), then we need to play Son and Alli in order to make runs in behind Llorente. Eriksen needs to play because he's our best passer of the ball, so that means our team looks like this:

Lloris
Alderweireld--Sanchez--Vertonghen
Aurier--Dier/Winks--Alli--Davies
Eriksen--Llorente--Son

Well with Kane out injured that changes everything!
Lloris
Toby Davinson Jan
Aurier Dier Dembele Davies
Eriksen Dele Sonny
Llorente
COYS!!!!
All kidding aside- take Llorente out of this line-up & replace Dembele with Winks and Spurs might just have the side that could walk away from OT with, at the very least, a point.
Here's the logic: if Kane was fit & starting, then Spurs would be forced into attacking ManU & that would set them up nicely for a quick count-attack goal or two, then shut down the shop (Mourinho's trademark game plan).
Now, Spurs best player is unavailable tomorrow, and this gives ManU a physiological advantage & odds are good they will come out of the gate tomorrow with "all guns blazing". If Spurs are able to withstand the initial pressure, it could set them up nicely for a quick counter-attack goal of their own- face it, there's a lot of pace up front with Sonny & Dele, ect....,
Poch could potentially turn the tables on Mourinho & beat him at his own game!!!

Think I’d start tripper for this if Llorente is up front, and save aurier for Madrid .

Midfield selection will be interesting. Is dembele fit and if is he still first choice ? Do we need a proper dm anymore? Will Dele continue in the deeper role? Lots of decisions!

It's a worry that we might have reached a bit of a 'peak' with the Madrid and Liverpool games. After the poor second half against West Ham, the Kane injury and now having to play away at Man Utd before Real Madrid it is a potentially ' wheels off the bus' moment so lets hope we can stop that happening - a couple of draws would be pretty acceptable in my book .
Lol. Wheels off the bus. We lost one game we didn’t even try that hard to win. IMO, we are better than united. They will not be looking forward to playing us. Even if we draw, and lose to RM, that’s hardly the wheels coming off.

Even after almost 3 seasons of pretty much dominating teams, Spurs fans still over-react.

Thing is Llorente would be perplexed if he didn't start with Kane missing, that's why we bought him.

If Dembele is fit enough I'd bring him into the team though.

A few tough choices. Perhaps Llorente starts against Madrid.

We can beat United without Harry. They're not exactly scary good, albeit improved from last season - which isn't saying much.

True but we are perplexed that he doesn't seem to be able to move his feet
