Our best CB for this season and last season is Jan by a mile for me. First season Toby did look the nuts, but Jan made him look better. My onions.

Hold on, Alderweireld was incredible that season, really good.

The truth is both are expetionally good CBs.

But for me now Vertonghen has edged ahead, but if we could keep Alderweireld I'd bite your hand off despite his injury problems.

But I agree with Mpickard to an extent he hasn't looked quite as imperious since the injury problems started.

And given that I don't think his bargaining power is as good as he and his agent believe, and Levy completely recognises that hence the impasse.

Probably going to be tricky starting 12 players. But, it would help break down teams that are going to sit deep.

Yes he was exceptional the first season, as I stated "he was the nuts" but other than that first season Jan has been probably more exceptional than Toby was that season and has been our most consistent and quality performer bar none this season and last. Like I said my onions and I back them onions all the way. Jan over the last 2 seasons been the best defender in the prem bar none.
