Ronaldo will kill trippier in the air and with pace.

If i was Madrid I would literally just be setting up to ping balls at the back post if its trippier vs ronaldo.

Would ask winks to literally just chase modric wherever he goes.

Sissoko also has a knack of turning up for huge games.

Son is erractic for me sadly in games like this his tactical indiscipline could cost us.

Although I believe son is the player that could out fox nacho's speed and marcelo's rashness.

I've been thinking and I really believe we need Vertonghen to play left wing back, assuming Davies isn't fit enough to start. I'd drop Dier back into the CB three and play Sissoko in CM.

In possession Sissoko and Son push forward to join Kane and Eriksen centrally, Dier steps up to join Winks/Dembele in CM and Aurier and Vertonghen give width on the flanks.

Out of possession, Son and Sissoko track back to double up with Aurier and Verts on the full backs and Eriksen drops into CM to benefit from loose passes and launch counter attacks. With Aurier on one side and Sanchez at LCB there's pace covering both sides in defence and Vertonghen changed the game on Saturday when he was switched to the LWB position in the second half, we looked much more balanced.

I would play Rose. Know he has been out for months and he might not be 100% energy but with Davies out, its our best option without moving players out of position.

Move Dier down between Aurier and Davies/Walker-Peters, and Eriksen down between Winks and Dembele, and I think you might be on to something.
