I think he might rotate a little with next week in mind.

Eriksen must need a rest soon but if he doesn’t play then we will struggle to break them down I feel.

Going to miss Kane big time, he loves a derby. Fortunately Dele is fit, he is so important in these games.

Judging from the brighton match,, we just cannot not play Son upfront. He thrives when played there as a false 9 without the presence of a target man. Plus, hes suspended for Ajax so we should make full use of his best position against West Ham. 4th is not assured yet

Save Janssen for Ajax!!!
Think he scored against them in his season at AZ
Crikey. He came on for five minutes yesterday, had a couple of touches, and suddenly he's the solution to our striker problem.
He isn't. He's badly, badly out of nick and he was never any good for us anyway. We have no choice but to stick with what we had yesterday, and that's what Poch'll do.

Agree, unless he can find a way of avoiding starting Llorente, but even if he does Janssen has no chance of starting.

I'm sure that's exactly what Poch will do. However, I think the reason folks are suggesting Vinny is for three reasons: 1) Fernando was poor yesterday. Hard to see a different striker doing any worse than that. 2) Shop window. 3) Everyone loves the underdog and a great comeback story. Will the latter apply to Vinny? Probably not. But it's human nature to root for the little guy in this sorta situation.

Very true but we will have a bit of wiggle room if results go our way again which means we wont be disadvantaged v ajax

I understand your point, you put it across well. However......

Do you want to spend the rest of your life going to pub quizzes, or watching Question of Sport, and knowing the answers to

1 - Who was the first team to ever score an away goal at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

2 - Who was the first team to win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

Are West fucking Ham ?

I think we'd all trade that in a heartbeat for us to be the answer to "who won the Champions League in 2019?" though.

Of course real life doesn't work like that so it's a more complex and uncertain trade-off.
