Wow, just checked out the 2015 ratings thread against Swansea. We had Mason, Bentaleb, Chadli and Townsend in there. All reasonable players, but no comparison to what we can field now.
Really, the first three are better than Sissoko in their respective positions in CM and wing and Bentaleb at his best was only second to Dembele. Let's not underestimate that team.

They won't put out an inferior line up to play us. They will make small tweaks but they will want to be competitive.
Personally, I would field a pretty direct team for Swansea. They are bad at just about everything and it won't take a moment of brilliance to break them down.

---------------------- Lloris --------------------
Trippier --- Sanchez -- Verts -- Davies
---------- Winks ------------ Sissoko --------
--- Lamela --------- Alli -------------- Son ---
----------------------Llorente -----------------
didnt they win away last game out? So they we’ll be encouraged by that. I still think they won’t go down and we should put out the best team we can in both games. Nobody gets put in just because they need a game. It’s the absolute best 11 in each game for me. 6 points here could really make a
Difference here, especially with ARSEnal missing out on 3 yesterday

I just can’t imagine Kane voluntarily stepping down through illness tomorrow. I’m convinced he’ll be raring to go, even if he secretly feels a bit crap.

Hope Poch fields the best 11 availble and instructs to go all out from the first whistle. If we should be 3 goals up in the first, start taking Kane off unless he has already got 2 goals and waiting for a new record and introduce at least 2 subs by the 60th minute.

Full team against Swansea, obviously. No game is a gimme in the Prem.

West Ham HAVE to beat west brom and their older and less fit squad will be more depleted than us for our match, so i rather we change a player or two for that match.

Swansea did win.. I would make some changes(rotation) for tomorrow's game and the best side for West Ham.

I think we can win against Swansea with changes in the Fullbacks and Llorente up front.

Versus Swansea we can risk Wanyama, trust Lamela and Alli and utilise Winks to pass and carry the ball forward.
Versus West Ham we need more muscle in CM and height in our defence.

Versus Wimbledon, we need to bring in a few of our fringe players and bring on the youth for experience.

Not that I disagree with your point about utilising the squad but is there really a need to rest Hugo?

I am not necessarily resting him...Just giving the chance for Vorm & Llorente to play at Swansea. After recent Lloris errors, IMO he needs to be kept on his toes.

Nah Lloris needs to play, literally no point in dropping him for Vorm, he made a couple of errors, he needs to go out and rectify that and we need to keep his confidence up.

Also Kane needs to play if he's over his cold and he needs to play against West Ham, Llorente can play against Wimbledon.

West Ham irrespective of injuries or fatigue will always be up for their annual "Cup Final". Thursday will be no different

I am assuming we will play a proper second XI against Wimbledon in the F.A.Cup at the weekend. Poch has said quite a few times that the league and the CL are our priorities.

West Ham will struggle more than us with the Thursday fixture as they have a weaker squad, and their game against West Brom tonight is much more important, especially as West Brom will have to rotate heavily having played on Sunday.

No way Wanyama will be ready or should start 2 straight matches after over 4 months out with injury. If he gets 50-60 minutes between the two matches, that will be a lot IMO. We need him for the rest of the season and shouldn't risk that for these matches.

I would rather keep Kane sharp for 1 game than risk him for 2 games in 48 hours and end up losing his way for rest of the month.
Its a tough call to make. Personally, I will take the chances against Swansea who have just scored 6 goals all season at home. Moreover we have a advantage of being the fresh side with no games for a week.

That's literally the point of playing Kane, he's had rest as well, after the Wst Ham match he'll have 9 days of rest until the Everton match.

Hardly a risk lol, he's got the sniffles, he hasn't pulled his hamstring ffs :ROFLMAO:

I am not saying its a risk for todays game. If he does play today, it will be a risk for WestHam game, which will be the tougher of the two.
