If you were the Swansea manager would you want to win this game or focus solely on the relegation battle?
I'm not sure I'd want my players thinking about anything else but survival.

Just a bit of squad rotation, give Moura some minutes too.
No need to rotate now imo.
This is the serious end of the competition.
We've a international break and only 8 games left after this, 9 IF we get through.
I dont think anyone is gonna start struggling through exhaustion.
Time to suit up and kick bum.

Thats what I'd like to see and Moura get a good 30mins as well.
If Poch doesn't go for this properly and we go out to fkin Swansea when Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool are already out then I'll be livid and convinced we'll never win anything with that attitude.
Got to go for it this year.
We really can win this bloody thing.
COYS

I can see him setting us up similar to the Bournemouth game. With the news that Harry will be out till April, he'll definitely want to show that we aren't over reliant on Kane.

I will be staggered, and disappointed tbh, if Pochettino goes with anything other than full strength in this one. Get through and we pretty much have a home semi. It's one of our biggest games in a long time imo.

the one move Poch will make that some will complain about is Vorm will start ---- he has given him all FA Cup games apart from the semi last season....and it is against his old club.
Likely team:
Vorm,
Aurier Sanchez Verts Davies
Dier Dembele
Lamela Eriksen Son
Alli

Totally understand this sentiment, and I think we should go as strong as possible. But imo that doesnt necessarily mean playing what would be on paper our strongest side. I think there are some lads that are looky leggy and it doesnt help anyone playing fatigued players.

Lloris
Trippier Toby(if not fit Foyth) Vertonghen Davies
Wanyama Winks
Lamela Eriksen Moura
Son
Vorm Dier Aurier Rose Sissoko Dembele Llorente

I think you have to keep in mind thath Vorm most likely will be gone in the summer? So there is no room for sentiment imo, i do like him, and he's been a good servant to us, but we really should go all out for this FA Cup

I think of Toby is going to play any part for us this season then this is the game to reintegrate him. I prefer 4231/ 433 but with Kane out, against a Swansea side who are attacking and comfortable in possession too, a quick, counter attacking side spearheaded by Son could be very effective. Giving Toby minutes with the security of two other centre backs could be great just before an international break and with the second half of the season in mind.

Someone needs to explain to Merson that there are no replays at this stage of the competition....

I don't see how Swansea win this game. They have bigger fish to fry with their survival bid so I expect them to make changes, something that will play into Spurs' hands. Both teams will be devastated with a draw and a replay, especially Swansea - their priority is staying in the Premier League :bag:

It'll be strange if we see extra-time played in broad daylight

Just my onions

Seems too defensive for Swansea. They are not coming out attacking - they will defend and look to counter. Plus, that formation, with width from the wingbacks in the attack works best when you have a good target in the middle - Kane or Llorente. With Son as the striker, he'll need more support and ball movement behind him.

Take off a defender, put on an AM - either Lamlela (likely) or Lucas.

Completely Agree, What's the point of playing a back 3 if you have 2 holding CMs. too boring...

International break after. They will focus 100% on this game.

I think given the tight muscle that Alli came off with against Bournemouth and that he will be playing in the Intl's, and Lamela/Lucas won't be, the line up will be this:

---------------Vorm
Aurier--Sanchez--Verts--Davies
----------Winks--Wanyama
-Lucas----Eriksen----Lamela
--------------Son

But with that front four being more fluid than just Son being our most forward player...
