He's watched plenty. You've got to get hold of a pair of TT specs. Changes your whole perspective. Says what he thinks though old TT, I've got to give him that.

You should always stay away from funny mushrooms.

Tough one. From what I saw today a part of me thinks go there and take it to them. They are weak at the back but still have players that can hurt us. I'd go for Dier and Dembele in midfield and a back 4. Dier can drop into a 3 if needed.

Not bein funny but seeing this id go all out attack.

--------------Toby--------Jan-----------------
Trippier---------------------------------Rose
--------------------Dembele------------------
---Moura----Eriksen---Dele----Lamela-
------------------------Kane--------------------

Hit em with a hardcore 4141 press. Moussa running the cm.
Pretty much same team i've gone for shape wise. Lamela left and Moura right protect the flanks well and there's also bodies in the middle.

If we go a goal up then for a pure shutout job i'd be tempted to stick Sissoko or KWP out there on the right.

Our worst performances from last 2 seasons where at old Trafford. Not sure why but hope we can change that on Monday night. Utd will be dangerous after today's result. But think we go with no fear we are better team at moment.

Our and Pochs record on Old Trafford is abysmal. I’m not confident at all. Streaks are there to be broken, but i’ll gladly take 1 point there. It just always feel like I and we pump ourselves up for the match and have high expectations and it always ends up badly. Top 6 away is always difficult. United also have that fucking United luck. They can win by creating like one chance and they have like an increased chance of getting pens. But i fucking hope we smash them and Mourinho and gets him fired. I actually don’t mind United compared to the other top teams, but Mourinho is such a boring ****. The worlds richest club and he parks the bus and plays boring defensive football. What.a.joke.

I think we sometimes go wrong at OT because we dont go at them. Their biggest weakness recently is in defence. We need to take the game to them and scare the shit out of them.
If we are over cautious and invite them to have a go they are more than capable of scoring 2 or 3.
Go at them and we'll dictate the game imo.

Have lost count of how many times we've gone to Old Trafford with people saying it was "a good time to play Man Utd" and that they were "there for the taking", only for them to beat us, end their bad run and go on a winning streak. We've failed to score in 20 of our last 30 trips to Old Trafford, and since Poch has taken over we've had four games, four defeats, no goals scored.

Mourinho's home record isn't as invincible as it used to be. But it's still very strong - City were the only team in the top 6 not to lose at Old Trafford last year. They'll be looking for a big response after this weekend.

I'll believe this game is anything other than a Man Utd win with us failing to score when I see it. I'd be surprised if Mourinho is there this time next year but I think he'll cling on for a little longer yet.

Sorry but we need at least a point against this lot away. Not saying we shouldn't aim to win but fed up with losing to them at Old Trafford in shitty 1-0s. That means 3atb, with a double pivot protecting them, and possibly looking to get them on the counter like we did to such great effect against Dortmund last year.

Toby - Sanchez - Jan
Trippier - Dier - Dembele - Rose
Eriksen - Alli
Kane

Alternatively we could do exactly what we did against Real at home and have Winks at the base of a midfield 3 with Moura in the Son role supporting Kane. But generally I think a back 3 is the way to go with this one. Make sure we nullify their attack, & their back-line is dodgy so we will create chances. No need to go all guns blazing from the get go.

As somebody stated we always seem to lose there with poch despite them always looking pants going into the fixture. I just dont see enough from us at OT. Instead of trying to shut up shop id rather go aggressive in attack. Even with 7 at the back they would score with fellani.
Lets attack them 4141.

I'd quite like it to be Herrera, because I loathe him. LOATHE.

Yes! He is a horrible little shit, can go through a whole game without playing the ball once. He is the epitome of the Mourinho Utd- physical strength, stop the opposition playing, deeply cynical.

Make no mistake, it's not a good thing that Utd got beat by Brighton.

Jose will demand a response from his players and he loves games against the the bigger teams. I'd expect to see Lingard come back in for them, Sanchez too assuming he's fit. They'll pick a more tried and tested side with likes of Herrera and his shithousery. A midfield trio of Fred, Pogba and Pereira in the first two games has been weird even by Jose standards. It'll be Herrera, Lingard and Pogba on Monday.

The upside for us is that I don't see them suddenly getting better defensively. Lindelof is awful and Bailly is suffering as a result. I'd like to see us start this one cautiously because their defense is breachable even if we don't put out an attacking team. Last thing I want is for us to give up an early goal and then have Jose park his bus and we lose 1-0 up there like last season in some boring, turgid affair.

I would seriously consider starting Lamela for this one for his work rate. If so then it would be in place of Lucas because I think he could be a good impact player off the bench late in the game to run at a tiring defence.

It's a 4-2-3-1 for me.

Trippier Toby Jan Davies
Dier Dembele

The pattern of the game at Old Trafford is usually that we muster very little threat as they strangle the life out of us (and completely shut down Kane - often with one of their centrebacks sticking to him like a limpet and tbh bullying him out of the game), and then capitalise on a soft error that leads to our downfall. Hopefully this time we have the solutions.......

I think 4231 is much more flexible than 433 and 3 at the back especially when we play Dier at the Base of the midfield .

Lloris

Trippier
Alderweireld
Vertonghen
Davies

Dier
Dembele

Lamela
Alli
Eriksen

Kane

that's why we need Rose rather than Davies.
I agree playing Rose if match fit. I agree they have so much pace to hurt us, this why playing Sanchez is crucial to me as he is very good at tracking speedy players. I have gone for quite strong core midfield as I am worried that Pogba will bully us in the midfield otherwise. I would play the following:

Lloris
Toby, Sanchez, Verts,
Trippier, Dier, Dembele, Rose
Eriksen, Alli
Kane

Subs: Vorm, Lamela, Moura, Davies, Aurier, Winks, Llorente

Can't for the life of me understand any teams without Lucas.

A great performance on Saturday, and the pace and workrate to keep United's back line occupied and create space for Kane.

I'd be tempted to go with a similar looking 3-5-2 set up, maybe even the same set-up.

Get at them early, and then shore up if we need to, rather than looking to be solid and hit late.

Here goes....after i got the Fulham line-up with Toby's recall, and the formation bang on...:)

This time Poch will, imo, revert to a 4-2-3-1.

I think Toby will get the nod over Sanchez due to Sanchez not really able to deal with strong robust types yet, that will come with age and experience, plus Toby has dealt with Lukaku before.

Dembele coming in and the 3 at the back shelved for OT with possibly Rose coming in for Davies , due to the lack of pace with Sanchez out Rose may well get the nod.

Dier will drop when we attack allowing Tripps and Rose to get forward.
