I will play back3 against United with Sissoko as RWB. United weakness is in their backline. They play high but have no pace. We need to keep playing long balls & diagonals and try to stretch &go beyond their backline

Formation : 3-4-1-2
Lloris
Foyth, Sanchez, Toby
Sissoko, Winks,Dele, Davies
Eriksen,
Kane, Son

Having said, I don't see Poch changing from back4

If you are playing with wing backs surely Rose is superior to Davies? Also, Sissoko is not a wide player. He struggles to cross the ball, keep him in the middle to break up play and run through the heart of their team.

I prefer Rose ofcourse but also understand he can't play 3 games in 7 days. IMO We need Rose in Chelsea away more than today

I think we need to seriously think about Lamela for dele or eriksen. We need a bit more bite. If we stand off like last night they have a lot more forward power to punish us.

Lamela for Dele or Eriksen? How anyone can ever contemplate dropping one of those two for Lamela I'll never understand.

Lamela is a decent little said player, the other two are genuine superstars it's insanity to me to even think this is something Poch would do

Think Lamela should get a start here, Alli, Eriksen and Son looked shattered.

He ain't dropping Dele, Eriksen or Sonny in a game like this when we have nearly five days to recover and don't play again for another week. Not happening

I would drop Eriksen for Lamela based on the fact that Eriksen looked completely shot on Weds very much like he was in Autumn. Man I have a high energy high pressing midfield and we can't afford to be carrying anyone today.

We've played shitloads of games recently and have shitloads to come. Now is the time to recognise when our players are showing fatigue and use the squad. Lamela is fresh, is great at pressing and will not let their midfield settle.

I'd quite like us to go 3 at the back (Jan, Davinson, Toby) - just to give them something they weren't expecting.
But I doubt we will. And that formation usually means one of Dele, Eriksen or Son missing out.
Maybe save it for Chelsea in the second leg.

Vertonghen in match day squad. Sky sports were in spurs dressing room and he had his shirt

Really concerned with centre mid for this one. Man u have bullied us in that position before when they beat us and that was with dembele there. If pogba and matic start versus winks and sissoko they will be dangerous. Even putting Dele in there wouldn't be enough to stop it. Going to be a critical decision for Poch.

The problem with Dembele is that he tries to do his normal bullying and dribbling against Pogba who’s just as strong and robbed him a few times - cruciallly in the semifinal.

Sissoko and Winks will look to keep it simple. Get the ball to Eriksen and Dele as much as possible.

If Poch dropped Eriksen for this one it would open up a can of worms. You don't rest players of Eriksens ability in games like this IMO

Son to score a hat-trick and get a minor injury which prevents international duty at Asian Cup but then he recovers much earlier than expected for our games - and S Korea still win.
