Ideally:

Lloris

Alderweireld Sanchez Vertonghen

Aurier Wanyama Rose

Lamela Eriksen Moura

Kane

Obviously with the full backs at wing-back, pressing high.

Will never happen. I think it’d be a creative and pressing nightmare for any opposition though.

Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Super Jan, Davies; Dembele, Dier; Lucas, Eriksen, Son; Kane

Subs: Vorm, Toby, Tripps, Dele, Lamela, Llorente, Wanyama

Get pace out wide. Fuck them over in first half. Bring on Lamela to do that weird stepover shuffle nonsense in the second half to piss them off. Top 4 done.

I'd never question Harry Kane's committment to the team but I think his judgement can be clouded when he comes back from injury. He hasn't looked sharp or fit since his latest one but insists that he is. Son is also off form, bumbling through matches and making too many wrong decisions. Maybe Llorente should get a chance and hook him off early if it doesn't work. He hasn't scored the goals but some of his lay offs and link up play have been excellent so I could see him causing problems with Eriksen, Lamela, Moura etc playing off him.I'd also like to see us go to a back 3 so that the wing backs can join in the press which seems to have disappeared lately.
I’m pretty sure the physios, medics and coaches have a say in whether Kane is fit to start - no just him making that decision.

I'd be surprised if Poch will change anything from the United game.

Hopefully the 9 day break from matches will help recharge the batteries before the final push. Perhaps it will enable Kane , Dembele and Son to recover their sharpness. 2 seasons ago when we collapsed we were affected by the suspensions of Dele and Dembele. Last season we finished strong and no reason that we shouldn’t repeat that in the 4 games we have left.

So many prefer Aurier to Trippier are you mad? this player is a red card walking and has given 3 needless penalties away costing points that if not lost would have made us certain for champions league already these can only be the same people that lauded players like Holtby ;prince Boateng;taraabt;bentelab.Players all discarded by Poch none of whom have gone on to prove Poch made a mistake ;if anyone can explain to me how a player in his position is often in front of the player he is supposed to be marking and therefore coming in from behind when defending and giving away penalties also his crossing is abysmal.Trippier is streets ahead of Aurier yet many seem to want to play Russian roulette with this man in there team

Also Watford is Trippier's manna from heaven. He had like 10 assists against them last year.

Bang on. This is what I would have done (I probably prefer Davies over Rose, though).

Aurier's ceiling is really, really high. I think he is an exciting player with loads of potential, and if he can draw from the coach like other FBs have under Pochettino, he'll be incredible next season. Yes, I agree, there are a few erratic tendencies. But many fans fail to see what Aurier does right. At his best, he is in fact really exciting.

The reason for auriers high high ceiling is due to the foul throws he makes because you never know where the ball will end up.

That's right. And maybe in the future his erraticness will lead to a major injury on some Chelsea bastard mercenary and we all will not be able to keep from smiling just a little bit.

Ok I'll bite, what exactly have you seen from him in a Spurs shirt defensively or offensively that leads you to reach this conclusion ?
