I really do sort of understand some frustration towards the Dier situation BUT we have to believe that he's playing/being selected because he's doing the business in training and, despite the negativity towards him, this start, the best start we've had in the PL for probably as long as many of us can remember, has come with Dier playing in the team that's gained maximum points from it's first 3 games.

When you're at the top end of the league, you really don't get there with passengers in the team.

I know our options are somewhat limited by injuries etc at the moment, but I still don't believe Poch would select him if he wasn't performing on the training pitch, and even more so if it was affecting us in league matches.

Maybe some of us would do well to just go with what the coach who has us near the top goes with?

Fully agree buddy. Unless Eriksen has grown to 6ft 3in and has bulked up to the size of big Lou Ferrigno no way will he ever start as a defensive pivot. Lets keep him up in the final third as a number 10 ??❤

They played with 2 strikers in the games before ours both times last season, so there is no way Poch could have known they wouldn't play with 2 against us just as there is no way we could be 100% sure they will play with 2 against us at the weekend.

3-3-2-1-1 for me.

Watford are a big powerful side so we need to compete. I hope Trippier recovers from his knock as he is a real key cog in our offensive play these days. I'm assuming Dembele needs to be managed as he missed most of pre-season and struggles normally. As such I expect another cameo form the bench from him. Emphasis will be on Erisken and Dele to put a shift in to help in CM when we don't have the ball.

They will be , but if we are to be serious title contenders we shouldn't be changing our formation for Deeney and Gray...

We should turn up with the same formation as OT and let them worry about our players.
