My guess assuming all fit.

City-
Lloris
Alderweireld sanchez vertonghen
Trippier dembele dier Rose
Eriksen Kane (dele)

Brackets could really be any of 4

West Ham-
Gazza
Aurier sanchez foyth davies
Winks wanyama
Sissoko lamela moura
Son

As long as all fit we can still manage the situation just about.

West Ham should put out a strong team because it’s a trophy they could try and win. It’s the same for us but because of the champions league games we have a problem. Too much rotation is a bad thing but it is going to be necessary with so many injuries.

I won’t be shocked either, especially as Poch isn’t known for going all out in this competition but it’s the sense of superiority that surprises me with them. They never ever challenge for anything and have barely a trophy to their name in their history, yet they seem to talk at times like we’re the poor relations who struggle to compete with them!

They are able to fuck our season up and that's what they love. Us looking down our noses at them does no one any favours. I can easily see them destroying us. Under the lights with that whole stadium rocking will have them at their best...as usual.

Most West Ham fans will admit we are the better team on paper but that just gives them the edge. Lose and they can't complain, win and they can say "your not so fucking special as we beat you".

Poch needs to either go for it or play the kids. No inbetween. I expect it will be the later.

Destroying us? Hmmmm, how often do we get destroyed? City have managed it, but virtually nobody else for quite sometime.

Beating an absolutely woeful United side, after playing with 10 centre halves against Chelsea has really given them a high opinion of themselves it seems.

I hope Poch goes for it, it’s a trophy we can win but I expect as you do, a much weakened side. Mind you, we’d still stand a good chance of progressing even if we field Sissoko, Llorente, Davies and co

I think anything possible in a derby. Not sure we've played there under the lights yet?

you really need to move away from East London to help soften the pain when they do beat us, especially a cup match

Four games in eight days is a joke a pile up of games because we seem to play England games after every five or six league games .And the sky and talk sport will crucify us if and when we play a weakened team for domestic cup games '
God I hate England fixtures during the season why not play them at the end of the season.
If you have four two week breaks for England games that is eight weeks lost from normal premier season.
You could split the difference play no international football and then give four weeks extra to the normal season and four weeks at the end of the season for England games and still finish the season with reasonable rest time for the players.
This would cut down the normal fixture pile up in the regular season because of the four extra weeks playing period and still allow international matches .If you play eight England games during the normal season why can't you play eight England games at the end of the season .
Normal season =38 games with eight week lost to internationals
my season =38 games with four weeks gained during season
The season would be of the same duration as normal but cause less fixture pile up

I've always thought this myself, would also benefit the national teams as they'd be able to gel as a group better and develop a bit more of a team identity and fluidity Would probably raise interest in international fixtures too rather than have them be viewed as a burden and annoyance.
