The good thing is we've got a much stronger squad this season after the excellent recruitment in the summer. We can attack all competitions with the same verve as we normally do season in season out and fully expect Poch and the rest of the club to have a real go

We need to keep up our magnificent Cup record in recent years...

We need to keep up our magnificent Cup record in recent years...
The good thing is that we can still field an attack with top class players like Lamela, son and Lucas even with Dele and Eriksen injured, we can still play Alderweireld and Sanchez with Vertonghen injured, and with Aurier out we can still field the best right back from this summer’s World Cup. Even our third choice goalie has been playing very well in the last few fixtures, while it’s fucking amazing that we can be without our best midfielder in Dembele but still be able to pick from 4 other premiership experienced full international footballers.

It's a miracle really. Only real area we can strengthen significantly is CM.

I definitely agree that we should have strengthened in the middle for what it’s worth, I just think that people severely undervalue what we have in place a lot of the time. City are the only side in this division I am overly envious of.
