I believe poch will surprise a few and play dier at the back in place of Sanchez to deal with the Arial threat from Carroll.

I will be inclined to do the same, as Carroll is a bully on the pitch and he needs to be contained.
What planet are you on. Sanchez is way better in the air than Dier and plus he will deal with Carroll better.

I am not confident. West ham really take this match as their cup final. Small club mentality maybe. But they are different team whenever they play against us

Just read somewhere that they have won more games against us than any other premier league side, says it all. This is their BIG game.

But we should be good enough to deal with that, like Arsenal did to us for all those years.

Thing is the last few years we havent matched their desire and struggled.

It's about these lot really got a heavy thrashing in their own backyard.

I mean the kinda defeat that destroys the soul of the club. That forever scars the pysche.
Something akin to the result away to leicester last season

If we turn up and in full flow...it makes little difference how pumped those ***** are.

As much as i'd like to agree i'm not sure that's the case - we have a much higher quality team but if we don't match their effort and fight we'll end up on the receiving end of a disappointing result. Pretty much what happened last year.

Just my two cents, the way they're playing you could be right but we all know what this game means to them and they'll definitely up the workrate at the very least.

At this rate Rose will never play at the Olympic Stadium if WHU get relegated.

Can see dembele on the bench as he is needed in champions league next week, as dier will replace Jan in the back 3, which explains why dembele played against Barnsley and no way will he play 3 games in a week

Yep you're right, but not necessarily in comparing our teams v the Scum when they were flying. Yeah, they did do us frequently, but then we gradually got a bit of a grip on them at the Lane. Raising our game, we deserved to beat them in several games that ended all square.

West Ham will be defensive tomorrow, playing on the counter, trying to get Antonio and Hernandez in behind our high line.

Wonder if Davies and Aurier will run past them two, leaving us 3 v 3- or be instructed to sit back.

No idea how this is gonna play out...

You'd like to think we'd match them then. Man United under Fergie had such an opponent every single week. Everyone treated them as their cup final.
We should never lose a game because the opposition wanted it more. No excuse for not matching the desire etc

I think we've been very unlucky against them in recent away games, certainly last season. Clearly the better side, conceded a very sloppy scrambled goal then struggled to break them down. We should have been 2-0 up very early.

Trippier great at playing the quick counter attack ball.

Good shift Sissoko.
