We have such an unbalanced squad, i think its an unsolveable puzzle trying to fit our best players in to a formation, let alone put out a team with our current injury list.

I think Naughton has done pretty well over the last few games. He has certainly been better than the majority of the team.

Lennon's more or less played as a full back all season, might as well start him there properly..

and Paulinho has come in for him and look how that has benefitted us....

Like I have said many times, Sandro and Dem/Paul should play behind Eriksen as he is our best no10. Strength and creativity in the middle of the park, rather than slow passing in stupid triangles that goes no where.

In my opinion, we must play Ade and Soldado together as this combination is the only time I have thought that we look truly dangerous going forward. Soldado may not have had his shooting boots on so far, but he seems to make the system work when he is there. Also, Eriksen absolutely has to play - none of this conservative rubbish, we must win this one. The back four will obviously be Naughton, Verts, Kaboul and Rose, and Paulinho will be playing for sure, so it's just about those last two positions for me. Personally I'd pick Dembele and one of Chadli/Lennon/Townsend.

supposed to be a diamond formation, i would expect dembele to stay more central, while townsend naturally moving wide.
Rose would provide width down the left while naughton is more rigid and less attacking

the best we have looked all season was the one game where Dembele started at RM. And then we abandoned it.

Id start Paulinho, Sandro and Ericksen in the middle, Dembele out right. Dont care who is on the left.

I want us to do without wingers and try Paulinho/Bentlab/Eriksen/Dembele/Sandro with Ade/Soldado up front.
This basically relies on Eriksen/Ade/Soldado to move to the channels when and if they see fit.

I think this trumps playing Lennon/Townsend because neither of these have been productive and against Arsenal we will be more short of goals than effort.
