It won't be this but it's what I would like to see. I'm assuming Lloris is still out. I still think we can turn our season around but we need to stick to what works and ditch what does not.

Poch wont make anywhere near the changes required. It'll be same as tonight with maybe Toby + Trippier coming back in and Winks over Dembele.

Yep, was gonna make a thread and I put exactly the same team.

Vorm

Aurier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose

Wanyama Dembele

Lamela Eriksen Lucas

Son

Don't want to see Kane and don't want to see Dier. Let's get some aggression back in our midfield and some fluidity back in our attack.

Aurier was excellent today and it would be ridiculous to take him out killing a bit of momentum for him. Wanyama has to start, Winks needs game time to shake off rust and we really need him to do that. I’m sure Lucas will start but I quite like idea of having him come on with 30mins left when Brighton have tired.

If you talk about players needing rest after World Cup I really think Jan does, I don’t want Sanchez out of team so I’d rotate in Toby for this.

Way things are I’d say they’re favourites which is pathetic to be quite honest.

We all know what we want but I’d hazard a guess he’ll probably drop Aurier (after his best performance for us) and Lamela, whilst sticking with Dier, Davies and Kane.

Don't think we can afford to be on the forefront of tactical inovation at the moment. Get back to a balanced 4231 and get some consistency back in the side.

Gazzaniga
Aurier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Vertonghen
Eriksen, Wanyama
Lucas, Lamela, Dele
Son

I don't think Dier should be near the starting 11 right now.

Please no more Vorm, I have no problems with his shot stopping but he cannot command an area on crosses.

And if Dier, Winks and Dembele play in three together again, ever, I give up.
