If Vorm plays Brighton will crowd him for corners and they will get chances.

He is a strong shot stopper, but he has no commanding presence for set pieces. Watford and Liverpool knew this and exploited it and after we conceded from another corner against Inter, Brighton will no doubt now do the same.

For me, Gazzaniga has to start, he isn't that much better a keeper than Vorm, but he is taller and offers us more for set pieces.

I can't be bothered to write what team I want to start, as it is pretty much the same as what is already been posted, but we all know that Kane, Dier and Dembele will probably play.

Trippier was awful, aurier was good. It's called meritocracy
I much prefer Trippier overall but Aurier definitely deserves to keep his place in the eleven based on recent performances alone.

It's only one match, but to drop Aurier would be harsh and completely against Pochettino's supposed ethos (not that I'm totally convinced he has stuck to his word on this front).

Poch has always rotated his fullbacks when they are all fit, if he played Trippier it wouldn't mean he has dropped Aurier .

He didn't used to anywhere near as much when Walker was here. You can't expect success when you switch it week in week out, we need continuity, especially when we are struggling.

Aurier should have a run of games with Trip getting the odd game here and there. We will be much more dynamic.

Never want to see a flat 3 of CM's again with a back four, no pressure on the ball, just backed off, no movement off the ball when we were in possession and the right sided player (Winks) was basically a dogs body covering Right midfield most of the time.

Vorm/Gazzaniga (not bothered)
Aurier - Toby - Jan - Rose
Dembele - Wanyama

Eriksen

Lamela - Son - Moura

He fell out with Walker,.

Walker is the best RB in the prem, he didn't play for reasons only Poch and Walker really know.

Trippier the odd game? .....wow how he has fallen in some peoples eyes....not me btw,

I’d drop son, and play moura and lamela and Kane up front.

If Alli is fit he has to play. we missed him against inter.

———————-Gazza————————

Aurier——alder————-verts————-rose

———————Wanyama————————

—————-Alli————————Eriksen———

Lamela————————————————moura

——————————Kane—————————

I want to see a side that will go all out attack.

Vorm has had a chance and we have lost all three games so time for Gazza, Vorm makes me nervous as fuck and probably the team.

Gazza

Aurier Sanchez Verts Rose

Eriksen Wanyama Dele

Son Kane Moura

Its Brighton , lets attack the fuckers they won't cope.

Because Walker had his head turned by Man City during the season. He was offered more money and the chance to win things so he told Poch he was no longer committed to Spurs. A great decision.

Maybe, probably ....but unless you were there you don't know the exact facts.

Because Aurier was excellent last night and Poch needs to stop disrupting form by switching players. We need stability and that means rewarding players for good performances. Sanchez and Aurier should both start.
ok, so we're no longer rotating full-backs between weekend and mid-week games.....(thats noted as a sign of our predicament).

I think both Walker and Pochetinno have confirmed this account.

Like i said maybe ,probably

But i heard ''rumours'' that Walker generally had too much lip on all matters and would question Poch in the dressing room after defeats and to the other players behind Poch back and they fell out then, before any City interest.... .After he got wind of the offer from City, Walker started giving it even larger to the other players and Poch with a flash attitude.Walkers agent may have alerted City that all was not well with Poch and him?

Poch didn't like his attitude and told Levy to sell...Poch made little attempt to keep him....Like i said this was a rumour from a mate of mine who;s son works for Spurs., but the way he totally dropped him suggests alot.

The same Aurier who lost his marker and by his own admission "conceded the (winning) goal?"

People seem to be basing their selections on players who, despite being poor when called on, didn't get the chance to fuck up in the last game. I think the World Cup and our total failure in the transfer window has done us a load of damage and we're scraping around for systems and personnel without much method. All of the players who came back from the WC look knackered (shock) and I guess quite a few need dropping but I don't see it happening. Poch will still toe the Levy line and say everything's fine. Not expecting any selection surprises v Brighton.

Vorm has to be replaced. He is sending the shits through the entire team. His and the defences confidence is shot.
Gazzaniga is a gamble, but something has to change.
And please stop fucking around at the back.
Winks being continually asked to play out of position is crazy. Just put him in central midfield with Wanyama Poch.
Aurier deserves another start.
Kane? Tough one, I’d stick with him.
Lucas and Sonny off bench??
