Gazaniga

Trippier Toby Jan Rose

Wanyama Winks

Lamela Eriksen Lucas

Kane

Vorm out. ok he didn't do anything wrong against Inter but they will look to put crosses on him and that is his huge weakness.

No need to play 3 at the back with Murray as lone man. Trippier in for set pieces as Brighton concede a lot from set pieces (like us lately!)

Think new fresh central midfield is vital for energy, Dier needs a rest and we know dembeles situation. Brighton's midfield work very hard and press.

Eriksen extremely lucky to keep spot but got his goal in midweek and hopefully kicks on. Lamela for the battle it is going to be, and lucas is fresh.

Kane needs to play. If I was poch I would then rest him for Huddersfield, Watford (cup) and Cardiff. Play him for Barca game inbetween. Decent rest, and called this from start of season he may be rested in that period.

Son off the bench and he could also do with some rest so better for impact off the bench.

Mate i'm not doubting that, but professional footballers will not come out and say they were a loudmouth cocky twat that pissed off their coach.

I am really diappointed, I thought all pro footballers were upright honest people, thats my illusions shattered.

The thing is Brighton are not an easy fixture, they have beat United at home, only lost 1-0 away to Liverpool and have come back in 2 games to gain a point when 2-0 down.

I’ve got a feeling they might nick a draw against us

Any point would be good tbh. Start small

This is now an absolute must-win for Poch and for that, I cannot see him possibly resting Kane in this match.

That being said, there's no reason why he cannot tinker - especially in the middle of the park which is crying out for change of personnel and shape;

Vorm (urgh)

Trippier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose

Wanyama
Dembele Eriksen

Lamela Kane Moura
"An absolute must-win for Poch" so your solution is for Poch to play a very off form, lethargic and tired player. Doesnt this sound a bit contradictory to you? No player one should be undropable unrestable. Kane in this current form is more of a liability imo.

Not if we end up surrendering a lead again it won't. I'd be over the moon with a scrappy 'backs to the wal'l 1-0 win because that shows the mentality is still present even of the form isn't.

Having said that a convincing win would be a brilliant tonic.

So many on here posting 3 at the back

Seriously?

Why would we do that against a lone striker... And probably the slowest in the league

I agree but yank was replying to my post, don't think enough people realise Brighton are a gritty hard working team, if we was playing a downbeat Burnley then I would really expect a win, this game a win is important, but I really think it will be a draw
