Have a feeling Dier will play. Adds a physical presence against a tough Burnley side, needs minutes and will allow flexibility to transition from 4 to 3 at the back when needed.

I would prefer to see, however:

Assuming Danny isn't fit, i'd be tempted to start the same as we did against Dortmund albeit may chuck Llorente in for Lucas.

Keep Kane on the bench and maybe give him 20 minutes, we need him as fresh as possible midweek and next Saturday.

Tough game and the on,y one that matters at the moment. I’d play the strongest possible team, which means Kane starting obvs.

Try and win the game and then take him off, rather than bring him on at the end with us under huge pressure to score.
