I dread to think who will be on the bench. Wonder will he put both gks on to make a point on recruitment? Wouldn’t really be Pochs style of course.

Still looks a really good team that. More than good enough to beat Fulham.

it is, the only thing I don't agree with is risking Vertonghen. he has just returned from a 2nd lengthy lay-off and feel we could get past Fulham without him. I'm sure when we had 5 at the back v them at Wembley we struggled and it went 1-1, we reverted to 4 at the back and deserved our 3-1 in the end

My controversial prediction:
Rose in midfield
Dier bench

Lloris
Trippier Toby Jan Davies
Winks Rose
Alli Lamela Eriksen
Moura

Very fluid Front 4

Sterling on bench just to taste the epl experience

I think our template for the next 3 or 4 weeks needs to be 3 at the back as that is where we currently have an abundance of players. Even if Jan is feeling his way back Davies can play LCB, or Foyth can come in with Toby shifting across. The key is to get the full backs high up the pitch and providing width (and crosses for Llorente), with Dele looking to get past Llorente as much as possible and Eriksen and Lamela playing narrow to control the game and get in between the lines.

Lloris
Sanchez Toby Verts
Trippier----------Dier-----------Rose
Lamela Dele Eriksen
Llorente

Or we could drop a CB to get Winks (personally I think he needs a breather) into the team and Dier can drop into make a back 3 when we have possession and both full backs bomb on.

Then when Moura/Sissoko/Son are back we will have much more flexibility.

First time in quite a while I’m seriously concerned about who we have to put out to make up an eleven.

Kane, Son and Sissoko massive misses with Dier and Wanyama :)cry:) already out.

I think I'd go:

Lloris
Sanchez Alderweireld Vertonghen
Tripper Rose
Winks Skipp
Eriksen Dele
Llorente
Full backs to provide the width, Tripper putting the ball in to Fernando with less defensive responsibility and Dele arriving late. Then we have Lamela as an option off the bench. Probably the only option.

Jesus I hope plan A is working because we're gonna have a bench of a keeper, 5 defenders and an academy striker...

We need a force majure in the air against Mitrovic and that is Llorente. KWP should start

Guess Tripp should play based on his crossing ability if Llorente starts

Has to play I think. He'll hopefully have better defensive cover and I know many really don't like him on here, but he's a fantastic attacking outlet on that side still IMO.

If Llorente can't get a place in the starting 11 with both Kane and Son unavailable, then we're doing nothing but wasting his career. We already ruined Janssen's career, let's not do the same with Llorente's, please!
