Got tickets for this but gonna give it a miss.
Driving down will be ok but I dont fancy driving home for 3hrs in that shit storm I've had to drive around in for last few days at work.
Getting home tonight was... interesting.
Had some awful drives home in the past from WHL.
Just not worth the risk. Was bringing my 72yr old Dad and 9yr old son :(
Bastard weather.

Can't see the need for 2 defensive midfielders against Huddersfield at home. These are the games we will dominate possession and chances so let's go guns blazing

Lloris
Aurier Sanchez dier rose
Wanyama
Moura eriksen Dele son
Kane

Rest vertonghen, dembele, lamela, Davies for Wednesday and bring other key players off after we get a comfortable lead

I can’t see Poch dropping Dier either. I think he’ll leave Jan on the bench and start Dier at the back with Sanchez. Having Jan fit for CL is vital!

I think we need to concentrate on the 3 points here - try to win the game early and get Ericsson, Kane and perhaps Dier off the pitch safely. But a question for those who have put teams out. Is it really necessary to put whoever we consider to be out first choice full backs out. A lot of people selecting Davies, for example, today when we could just as easily play Rose and keep Davies fresh for the 'game of his life' keeping Juve quiet

Lloris
Sanchez———Dier
Aurier———Wanyama———Rose
Eriksen———Dele
Moura
Kane———Son
Although I suspect Dele will be rested for Juve, along with Dembele, it’s the only reason I can see for Poch bringing them on against Rochdale.

I wil be highly surprised if we rest players for Juventus, other than maybe Dembele and Vertonghen where match ready fitness may be a concern. This game is as important as any other league game from now until the end of the season and no game is a given.

I agree, if we rest some key players it will be 2 weeks since some of them have played and risk lacking match sharpness. I don’t even think it’s a given that Verts will start against Juventus if he doesn’t feature today. I’d give Dembele a run out in the 2nd half along with Davies.

................... Lloris ........................
Aurier Sanchez Vertonghen Rose
............... Dier Dembele ...............
.......... Eriksen Alli Son .................

Full strength for me.

Vertonghen could do with some game time before Juve and he shouldn't be exerted too much here.

Dembele I think is very much a rythym player, and he's certainly in the groove now - we need to just let him play, he can handle it, as proved in recent weeks. Sub between 60-70mins would be perfect imo.

Bring in Lamela, Trippier and Davies for Juve - replacing Son and the full backs.

My team would be

Lloris, Aurier, Davies, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Moura, Lamela and Kane.

It isn't going to happen but would love to see it. The three AM's have everything you want from them. They also would be amazing on the counter, not holding on to the ball for too long which you can excuse Dele and Son of doing.

Agree with those saying Dembele should be saved and another attaching player introduced. I'd be devastated if he was missing for Juve.

Jan is a tough one too. Today might be a good run out for him as I expect it will be 75% attack so he shouldn't be too troubled. But again, vital he is fit for Juve.
