I think Pochettino might have to start thinking outside the box regarding midfield. Can dembele or winks play again Tuesday ? Considering we have x3 competent RB trippier into midfield might be an option. Possibly even foyth, not for this game but wouldn’t mind seeing that experiment against Watford.

Bring in Sanchez to a back 3. Drop Kane & Dier. Play front 3 of Moura, Lamela, Son. But as for midfield, we don't currently have a single player in good enough form for the CL (or the Prem). Poch needs to do some magic there.

Not sure I follow. He shouldn't play three games a week, nor do we need 2 primarily defensive midfielders when we play relegation candidates.

Sanchez has played in the middle for Ajax and done it well least with him we have some power and drive there and should not be out battled

Interesting idea, but he's never played as a CM for us iirc. Our CM options aren't looking good at present - fatigue, coming back from injuries, lack of match fitness, form and a lack of creativity. I'd go Winks to partner Victor in CM, Dembele as sub.

Think Sanchez will get game time anyway, whether we go for a back three or four. The game's on Tuesday and we'll need some fresh legs.

When I sit and think about our best team I just get totally confused now. Pochettino has messed around so much with systems I don’t think he has a clue what our best team is. We always seem to have this at the start of a season and then settle into a line up 2nd half of season and results improve.
