Tripp's was caught out badly for their 2nd goal & Toby didn't cover himself in glory either, so maybe he's giving them a wake-up call, to see if it improves their performances.
What about Ericksen ? He has been Brutal for a while, Inconsistent for years, how come he has not got a Wake Up Call ?

All players want to play in the CL, i can't believe the players that have been left behind are happy.

If all was well Poch would have laughed it off or explained properly why they were left behind, not all the ''technical reasons'' rubbish .

The way Poch explained it he wanted everyone to know there was a problem.

well both players have had a long summer, Trips did take a knock, but continued to play on, and Toby has recently become a dad. plus Poch loves to rotate, so doubt Trips would start, and might feel that Sanchez deserves the run, making it pointless to take 2 players that won't play

If that is the decision making process than so be it, but it sure would be nice if we're looking to secure a win and we can bring Toby on and go 3ATB to close it out.

bar the United Match Toby hasn't really been at the races, perhaps he left him at home due to the possibility that the new born is keeping him up and effecting his sleep, because he looked it like a few others v Liverpool

to be honest if Sanchez hadn't got back so late from the Columbia match, I reckon he would of played instead of Toby v Liverpool

Thats fair, I think he's been pretty good. He and Jan helped a lot in making that liverpool game not be 6-1 or something like that. Also thought he was fantastic in the Fulham game and wasn't able to watch Watford.

I did edit the original just before you posted.

as I said I'd say at a guess Toby played due to the time Sanchez got back. to be honest Vorm got in the way to stop the score escalating, Toby even put us straight on the back foot a couple of times.

v Watford neither of our CB's covered themselves in glory at the set pieces that we conceded the goals

yep read it again, and pointless taking 2 players that weren't going to play.

Toby has just become a father and at a guess wouldn't of played Saturday if Sanchez hadn't come back so late from Columbia.

he never plays the RB/WB's if 2 games are in the same week, so why travel? the only time is if there are injuries.

all your doing is what the media do, over exaggerating the situation. always a chance Poch said what he said, saved him going all around the houses.
