Wish we would give Kane a rest. I honestly don't see the point in having Llorente in our squad if we are never going to play him. He has to leave in January for sure. Get him off the wage bill and bring in someone that we can at least use!

Because he is not very good.

Gazza, Rose, Dier, Winks, Alli, Moura, Llorente

Seems a bit like you're gunning for a 0-0 with that lineup.

As Foyth can't play against Barcelona I'd play him against Leicester, we need to rotate and keep players fresh for games ahead.

Lloris
KWP Foyth Vertonghen Davies
Sissoko Winks
Moura Eriksen Dele
Kane

Bring in Aurier, Alderweireld, Rose, Dier, Son for Barcelona

Agree, whatever combo against Leicester that gets Verts and Toby together for Barca away

Looking at Leicester this is also their 5th back to back game as they had the rearranged carabo. So in terms of freshness it should be quite even. In the 4 games so far they’ve used 17 players. And 6 have played 3 games and the last 2 so might be bit jaded. They are Morgan chillwell ndidi mendy albrighton and Maddison. Hopefully they will be feeling the pace.

They also have x6 out injured including maguire and now Evans. Meaning only fit CB are Morgan and soyunci. Morgan at 34 already played x2 this week. So they have issues there.

Feeling more confident now ?

Obviously rotating the squad is important, and Poch normally rotates the full backs but I feel we've seen too much chopping and changing right across our backline.

Hard to build a solid unit at the back when there's so much change.

Vertonghen and Alderweireld should start the next three games now, both had a game out here and there.

Bring Young Foyth back for the Arsenal game.

3 / 5 at the back.(wing back system) As we have been too exposed with a back 4. Middle needs some cleverness, not just industry. Dele is a future cm for me. But can push up to the attacking 2 to make a 3 as and when.

Basically a form of 4-3-2-1. I'd be curious to see Poch give Foyth a crack at RB in this game. His extra height would help, and he's technically very good and I think could throw a few good crosses in if given time and space. But that's highly unlikely. I'm guessing Aurier will get another crack at RB in this game.

I'd like to see a more attacking lineup. As If we approach this game defensively I fear that plays right into their hands. And I wouldn't be surprised if they were expecting a more cautious approach from us. Coming out the gate swinging would catch them off guard.

Lloris

Aurier - Toby - Jan - Davies

Eriksen - Winks - Sissoko

Dele- Son

Kane

KWP has got to start this with Barca just a few days away. Save Aurier and Rose for that game, IMO. I’d also give Dier a game here as he’s played a ton recently. If needed he can come on off the bench. So KWP and Skipp to get chances for me.
