I wouldn't get too cocky. We're playing very well but we will have a weakened side out and they are always up for this game.
Yeah I know just couldn't resist. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us.
Does that make me the idiot lol.

Vorm/Gazza

KWP - Foyth - Verts- Rose (if right)

Dier - Winks

Sissoko- Dele - N'koudou

Son

Gives a bit of tactical flexibility with Dier there if 3 at the back was needed. I know KWP can play LB but would rather see him on the right again. Would rather not play Llorente as the target man approach is going to be easily locked down by West Ham's centre backs.

Spammers on KUMB are shitting it. Only 1 in 20 think they might get a result. Most expect to get spanked by our kids. Would fucking love to bend them over with over half the first team rested. Destroy any remaining confidence they have for Palace at the weekend (y)
Tbf it's one of those games, we're likely to put a second string out so we could actually end up with a disjointed performance out there. Funnily enough I could see us losing if they put out a strong team although I want us to go as far as we can in this competition.

I don't think Poch is going to take this seriously unless we reach the semi finals.

Imagine if Lamela comes back the Roma Lamela that we’ve never we really seen. Our squad would be quite insane.cant believe he’s only 25 tbh.

Amazing Lamela had a 1 in 3 scoring record for Roma and for us it’s been 1 in 10.

I'd be happy if just the 15/16 Lamela came back. I think he'd be particularly useful against lesser sides who try to sit back against us as he will press all day long and will create chances.

I definitely don't like our options at linking play without Winks and Eriksen but I wouldn't play them. Shame Lamela can't start, but I'd love to see 20 minutes from him.

Whoever is playing against United, by in large, should be rested for this one.

No way should we give Mourinho any edge at all.

We can have them with a fresh 11.

Basically this.

Pick the team for United, and then nobody who is in the first XI should start against Wet Sham.

That does make things a bit tricky at centre back though.

My one concern is having someone at the back who can stand up to Andy Carroll. Whatever we might think about his footballing ability he is a big unit and can bully anyone not as strong as he is. If we're not careful we could give the game away on that aspect alone.

Pretty clear from what's happening and from the way that Poch talks about him that Lamela's got a problem in his head, rather than a physical problem.
