He has and he's playing very well. Just a tiny bit of information, I am good friends with a player who moved from Sheff Utd last season. He still has connections at the club and told me people are very impressed by CCV. I'm hoping this loan will really push him on.

Think he had one poor game for them but otherwise has looked very good. Word i keep hearing is composed.

I know Danny Rose need to be nurtured back into match-fitness but I would like to see Anthony Gerogiou tested in a domestic game (soon) to see if he's got "it".
However, Pochettino sees him train every day so I am sure he know much better than me whether that's a good idea or not
Georgiou isn't even in our top 10 best academy prospects IMO. I'm sure he'll do a good job if asked, and he did look good in pre-season, but he isn't someone who screams future star.

After the comments on Lamela not being quite ready, I’d go with (if possible):

Vorm
Foyth Dier Davies
WPeters ____________ Rose
Dele Dembele
Nkoudou
Son Llorente

Lloris Alderweireld Aurier Winks Sissoko Eriksen Kane
With Winks, Sissoko and Eriksen in for Dele, Dembele and Son if all is going to plan into the final third of the match.

Team for West Ham would be Vorm, 3-4-3 Alderwerield, Sanchez, Foyth, Tripper, Dier, Alli, Rose, Edwards (in my dreams), GKN and Lorente.

Well @riggi just got a shitload of alerts.
He won't get them, he's probably already in the Torch.
Wouldn't surprise me if he slept outside the Torch last night, like those twats when a new iPhone comes out.
This is his everything.

FYI the people that disagreed with my post saying the problem was now in Lamela's head!

#thfc Poch also said Lamela is "close" to a return & suggested it is now more of a psychological issue for him.

It's probably a bit of both. He didn't have operations for the fun of it but also he has probably got to feel fit himself to start.
Not doubting he isn't the strongest mentally but that is a far cry from it being all in his head.

West Ham have Palace away this weekend, so I fully expect them to field a much weakened team

Think Sissoko is nailed on to start tonight having only be late sub on Sunday. Would switch him for Dele in your team

Within reason, I'd like us to field a strong team. I don't think you can place enough importance on our clubs need to lift a trophy now, it's the one thing we haven't quite managed. This competition represents as good a chance as any other, of not more so.

It's easy to say we need to field kids, but the reality is, if we slide out of this comp early we'll all be sitting here next February watching a team that isn't as good as us lift a trophy in most likelihood, and be cursing it.

Son, Alli, Dier, Davies, Rose, Dembele, Sissoko, id play if available as they have all missed games in recent and should be fresh.

It's funny that I can't work out if that West ham team is weakened or not
Thinks that’s their problem they have a lot of very average players.Lanzini is massively overrated. The only player I rate at all is Antonio and fortunately he is injured.
