Barkley is fine for me now, he will cover both CM and number 10 roles and will plug a lot of gaps.

I guess it all depends on whether the new manager can talk him into that, if he does sign a new contract with Everton that will end our interest
Will probably be Fat Sam. Can't see that changing his mind about working with Poch.

According to the Germany manager Goretzka is moving to the prem, out of contract next summer, perhaps a Dembele replacement and alternative to Barkley.

Zaha and Barkley would be nice. Get them in January so they have a preseason with us.

If we buy them in the summer, it will be August before the deals are done.

I don't think we would have a chance with Zaha in January. Palace are fighting for their lives and aren't going to sell their best player.

Not sure I’d read to much into that comment about joining PL,he was talking about sane and German players leaving bundesliga.I think it was more reference to leaving Germany than specifically coming to England.

Honestly our stock is so high now.A player would have to be a fool not to want to join us.Especially young English.

Pulisic makes so much sense even on a Nike/USMNT level, never mind his quality on the pitch
It would be a fantastic signing but it’s never going to happen. We’d have to get into a bidding war with Bayern, both of the Mancs, Liverpool and half of Europe just to get him here. We just don’t have that kind of money to spend on a single player right now. A sneaky bid for Leon Bailey or Gelson Martins in the summer is much more likely.

There seems to be a lot of talk about Goretzka today. With Dier, Dembele, Wanyama and Winks, do we really need him? (plus Onomah when he returns)

Considering Dembele is perma-crooked, Wanyama may well miss the rest of the season and potentially not return the same, Dier is often playing CB and Poch doesn't see Onomah as a CM, it doesn't sound unreasonable.

Where does it say that Pochettino does not see Onomah as a CM? If he did not then why did he let him out on loan to club where he plays as a CM?

Well if we can get him then we should do everything possible to do it. Absolute class player and will go on to get even better.

Can never have too many good players.

It was suggested by one of our itk's I believe. I think I remember correctly the either or in addition to not seeing him as a CM, that Maurice doesn't 'trust' him as a CM. Wether this is a temporary assessment is in the lap of Maurice. It was also suggested that Onomah requested assertively to go on loan to get game time as a CM. That being said, my own opinion is that our ethos on loans has changed and I beleive (personal opinion) that this is down to Harrison returning to the club as scout, loan affairs and those on the outside of the trusted 17-18 first team certs.
