Lanzini being linked on twitter. If West Ham are in relegation scrap come January wouldn’t be surprised if they sold.Hes not really one for a dogfight and Moyes prefers British. The Argentina link is obvious,ok squad player but pretty similar to winks.Think I’d pass unless he’s going dirt cheap.

Would take him given a good price. Can be a very good creative player on his day. Bigger club like us he would have to up his game on consistent level

Yes please! Would be an extremely shrewd purchase.

Darren Lewis in the mirror says poch likes him and we are monitoring him. Would be difficult to get that deal over the line with West ham?

Not for me. One good game in ten and that's usually saved for playing us.

rate lanzini highly, dont see it happening, because 1) West Ham would be extremely c***ish to sell there best player in the middle of a relegation fight, to there fans biggest local rivals 2) We're pretty much bang on to sign Barkley and i dont see how both of them can fit into the squad, unless Onomah has no future at the club. Which would be a massive mistake.

Lanzini has a good record for them. He’s a talent. Clever player who always looks like he’s surrounded by players nowhere near his wavelength

I would 100% take Lanzini, always rated him, way too classy a player for that lot. He reminds me of Coutinho, which isn’t a bad thing. Reckon he would be a very useful addition to our squad. But, he has 2 and a half years left on his contract and as others have said West Ham would probably demand something stupid like 30/40 mil for him from us.

Yes I think your right perhaps we should file this under not happening.

Lanzini certainly won't be happening in January.

Come the end of the season he'll have two years left on his contract and West Ham will want to rebuild. For that they need funds.

I think Levy would happily pay £30/40m for him in January! In the current market, that’s a fair price.

They’ll demand more than that though.

He’s a bit like Coutinho without the pace but he possibly makes better decisions ( he lacks the pace so has had to work on other parts of his game ) than the Brazilian.

Cannot see it happening either way. As mentioned above, Barkley looks to be the one

Goretzka is easily the best out of those mentioned. If he was agreeable to joining an english club, i would be going bonkers trying to get him to sign for us

What do you mean? He might not be as quick as Coutinho, but he certainly doesn't lack pace in absolute terms.

He’s nowhere near as explosive off the mark as Coutinho. That’s why Coutinho beats players regularly. He lacks pace compared to Coutinho is what I mean.

Given the fact that we’ve hit our maximum quota for non home grown, and in fact had to leave Lamela out of our CL squad, I’m pretty sure we won’t sign any non-HG players unless we ship out at least two of the current incumbents. We can bring in Barkley, for instance, regardless of this but if we want Goretzka then I’d wager two of Sissoko, Nkoudou and Lamela are off.

Given that Pochettino doesn’t seem to like changing much in January, my money is on Barkley or nothing.

That's an exaggeration. But even if it were like that, it says he's a big game player. Something he also showed while at River. He steps up for the important games. That's the kind of player you should always want at your club

He's also very close friends with Lamela btw

Right. But IMO, he moves very quickly with the ball in his feet. That's the skill we lack, a player who is able to use pace and control/move the ball.
