Can easily see a situation where England play 'on the road' and just use Wembley for the bigger games/bigger nations.

The FA need to play at Wembley for the next 8 years to pay off all debts associated with building the stadium.

You think that a majority of the other 91 league and thousands of amateur football clubs are going to agree that all cup finals and the majority of England internationals will be played at Chelsea's home ground, which is supposed to be the impartial national stadium, forever onwards ?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....LMFAO

Nope they can fill it with other events.

Also there is no rush to pay off the debts. Arsenal could have already paid off the emirates if they had wanted but the interest on the £200m worth of debt left is so low that it isn't worth it.

Can't see this happening - West Ham are certain they have a veto in their contract. No way Brady and the bongo Davids would let us share.

If they have a veto in their contract it would be a disgrace. They already have a very good deal at the stadium and to have a veto over the possibility of more money going back into the public purse, when it was built with public money, would be nothing short of scandalous.

That's the only way I could see them agreeing, the threat of the OLC and Mayor shaming them in public, and trying to put on media pressure. Still can't see it.

I thought I read that the veto was only in the first year. Which being next year would mean it doesn't affect us anyway.

hertyid again: Fwiw west ham categorically do not have a legal veto. They can object but if the LLDC as the sole owner decide to lease the stadium to us on alternate weekends for our home league games then Brady has to take it on the chin.

Have they diversified into musical instruments or is this spell check issue?

That would be a massive slap in the face. Would be funny.

The Olympic Stadium would be a lot cheaper than Wembley. This could be a major factor in the decision.
