Where would be the best temporary/most likely home for us?

If we get to the league or FA cup final in our season away it could be interesting...

Might good for attracting players... guaranteed Wembley appearances for the next two seasons?

Anyone else worried about playing a full league season at Wembley? I just can't see this being much other than a 'leveller' for all home games. The atmosphere is bound to be terrible due to the dimensions of the stadium and the reduced capacity, the pitch will be much larger( pressing game?). it will even take away the novelty of getting to any cup semis or final. I think Wembley for the CL is fair enough(although we saw what happened to Arsenal) but I really think MK dons for just one season ,where we could have filled the place with 30,000 fans, would have been a preferable 'footballing' decision. I accept this would have not been popular with many fans though and I assume the club also think the Wembley deal is better financially? I just wonder if it may cost us in the longer term( i.e league position).

So now having a big pitch not a small pitch is the problem
Not really, but I think Wembley is a bit different to the norm isn't it? We obviously play on all sizes of pitches over a season but our current game is very much built on pressing and running so I'm not sure Wembley for 19 games is going to help with that . My main point though is just it being Wembley Stadium and i can't see that becoming a home 'fortress' for anyone.

I agree on others raising there game etc, and I think it'll genuinely be tough.

With regards to the pitch though, surely Wembley is a UEFA regulation pitch, so it's the same as every other new stadium out there.

Whl isnt a fortress now. Home form this year more el than cl.

Early ko s atmosphere poor.

Not a difficult mark to reach.

Very true - pretty sure we're fifth on home form alone (albeit not many points behind 2nd-4th) and it's our away form that is keeping us in second overall.

Don't we have a Wembley size pitch at the new training ground? I am sure that the new pitch at the new stadium will be similar dimensions (would make sense) so might mean we are better adapted for the new ground.

On the atmosphere, will be a little strange and also as the stadium wont be decked out in our colours or iconography it will be more like a neutral venue, but we will have the majority of the fans and I think that in itself will mean a decent atmos.

We create a good atmosphere at Wembley when we only fill half of it. To have the majority would be cracking.

Quick thought, would Wembley's partnership with EE affect the deal in anyway? I can't imagine it would but throwing it out there!
