Didn't happen during Panthinaikos did it? Poor form if it did.

Block 32 was non-stop through out the game and some in 31 tried their best but it did seem like the rest of the ground couldn't buy into the atmosphere. Hopefully it works out for the Coventry game as its in the Shelf. As a seasoned Park Lane goer its going to feel a slightly odd sitting in another part of the ground.

Love the ideas here, my misses complains our fans are too dull - she is a Boca juniors fan though...

I hope the 1882 movement can also move to bring back our traditional and iconic motto, in Latin, Audere Est Facere.

Quality. Must try to get a cup ticket in the 1882 block.

I'm in Park Lane tomorrow, the 1882 section had sold out :( Will be interesting to see how loud they are and whether Park Lane dampens down as a result..

It was a good effort. Coventry fans were brilliant though.

I was in block 38 park lane right on the edge mind near the West Stand (literally the last seat on row 17). Thought the atmosphere was ok, not as good as European nights.. But I did love the "we're park lane, we're the shelfside" across the Coventry fans.

Was good though got to check out who sits in that stupid West stand, and it seems just a load of fairly old people with foreigners dotted about. Some got involved but they may as well not be there, call themselves fans?! You would've thought they'd get involved being near Park Lane but no.

Honestly I actually hate our fans that don't sing more than Goon fans!

Apparently 1882ers overheard Shelf Siders bitching about the movement saying they can "fook off somewhere else". What a bunch of wankers!! Anyway rant over  I love this 1882 movement, but it seemed to be only a tiny contingent of the East Stand even though I could see them clapping and dancing all game.

We need 1882 to take over Shelf Lower so we get that whole corner of WHL singing its heart out

For some reason The Shelf hardly ever reciprocated the "We're the..." song. Is a shame to hear them moan about the 1882 movement. Our atmosphere has gone really poor over the last year or two. We need a group to create new songs and get them sung. It's almost criminal that Sandro is one of our much loved, most important players but doesn't have a regular song.

I did love the "Who's the pikey/wanker in my seat" chants :D

We didn't sing it loud enough tbf, when the coventry fans made a little noise it was drowned out given there was 5000 of them. I couldn't hear the shelf much at all, but i could see the 1882 corner all jumping around/clapping.

Come to think of it we should have done "we're the park Lane we're the park lane tottenham" "you're the west stand you're the west stand tottenham" followed by "you're support is F***ing shit" instead of "yiddo yiddo yiddo"

I don't think abusing our own is really necessary unless they are being abusive themselves. More-so we should continue to take the pro-active stance and ensure that those that want to make noise can do so, without feeling it's not the done thing (because those around them want to sit in silence). To be honest I'm more for relocating into the quiet areas and making a noise. It would be fantastic if the 1882 crew could locate to either the West Stand or the Paxton for a game and just be a nuisance in the sense that we're vocal. You never know we might be pleasantly surprised and wake a few of them up.

I would LOVE to see 1882 in the West Stand

I'm not sure moving in to quiet areas is a good idea.

I normally sit in the south or south east corner but for Swansea I got a free ticket in the east upper, in the northern corner. It was dead there. Polite applause was as lively it got. When the Park Lane started singing, I joined in but had to stop as I was getting looks. I started singing under my breath. If people see that behavior has boorish I don't think moving a group in temporarily will sway them.

I think we're better off focusing in one area of the ground amd expanding out.

I agree, in the decade that I've had my season ticket and those around me who've had theirs longer, none of us have ever chanted ; )

I'm all for 1882 livening things up at the Lane, but don't forget about those who have spent many thousands of pounds over many years.

For the record, Cov fans applauded the corner of Shelf and Park Lane after the final whistle. I assumed it wasn't because we were all wearing lovely jumpers that our wives, girlfriends, mothers bought us for Christmas.
