Still fancy Barca even without Messi. They looked great yesterday and Dembele is plenty good enough to cause Inter trouble.

Got my ticket to the Inter game sorted. I just hope we're still in it by then. I would still go regardless though.

Still got a decent window now that Inter has lost to Barca, was a bit concerned they may steal a point. Need some help from Barca or PSV (preferably both). We must win vs PSV and Inter. After that, who knows? I could even see a scenario where Inter draws w PSV and loses to Barca, which would put us even on points if we beat PSV and Inter and lose to Barca.

Long way to go!

I think the most likely scenario is we need to win our three games two at home which is a good thing. Id like to go to Barca with something to play for, hopefully Barca will have gone through by then and play a second string team.

It genuinely beggars belief we are in this position after two away games we should have got six points from.

Only ourselves to blame and those late goals will be killer blows.

Only glimmer of hope is that barca will be well through by the time we play them. Still relies on us winning though and we always find a way to fuck it up in Europe. Our European record for snatching defeat from the Jaws of victory is impressive.

Still feel weirdly optimistic tbh. We are clearly better than inter and PSV and should take care of business. I think it’s immensely possible Psv could nick a draw against inter. Even if they don’t Barca will be a free swing for us. Nobody will expect us to win and a draw is no use so we can just go for it. Even if Messi is fit I think it’s highly unlikely he will start. Plus they have tricky league games either side of it. Not over till the fat lady sings.

Sad to inform you but the fat lady has just been handed her microphone so it's safe to assume it's time, and as for us fans having a trip to Madrid that will have to be a family holiday instead as it was never going to happen and the team have made sure of it this campaign.
