Same flights I booked last night from Luton to Barcelona for £65 are now over £200! You can still get for reasonable price if you stay til Thursday though.

For Madrid last year I flew to valencia and trained it which was still cheaper. So you could fly to there or Zaragoza etc. Train system in Spain is top top.

Can anyone give me a rough idea on how many loyalty points will be needed for the away fixtures?

Tough group, tougher than last year for sure, but tbh i wouldn't swap with Liverpool for example. Only City got really lucky :cautious:

It's a shame that Barca will be played at Wembley - would have been an incredible thing to play our first ever CL game at NWHL against them.

Other than that - the games against Inter will be key - don't really know what to expect from them. Their squad looks tidy, but they've been shit in recent times. PSV will give us 2 good games too. So the group certainly stronger than last years with no club like the cyprus one.

Reckon getting some Barca tickets around the ground on the day would work? I won't have enough points....Any tips on getting tickets most welcome. Would love to take the misses out there (have converted her!)

I think it's a valid point in saying that the group is even tougher on paper than we had last year and that is saying something. We will be having to go some to collect 10 points from 12 against Barca and Inter, if you compare it with RM and Dortmund, and on paper PSV appear to be stronger than the Cypriot counterparts we also played.

There are two ways of looking at this, glass half empty is we can focus on the fact that the footballing gods haven't been kind to us with the draw for the 2nd season running. Glass half full, we can focus on the fact that the bigger challenges we have been presented with have motivated us on to greater performances in the group stages, and have brought the best out in us in three seasons when we have had a perceived higher difficulty on paper, when compared with our poor showing when we had a perceived easier group.

Exciting times ahead, and as great at the atmosphere will be at Wembley if we rise to the occasion as we did last year it would have been even better to have these mouth watering ties in our new stadium.

COYS !!! Let's give it our best shot out there, and let's not be left with regrets.....

If i fell into a barrel of tits i would come up sucking my thumb.

I am living abroad at the moment ...booked flights and hotel for me and my wife in london to catch the City game in our new stadium and had tickets sorted from a ST mate, now if its the very first game, the tickets he promised, his 2 kids will won't them, for the very first game its understandable...little *****.

Then i get hope it will be switched to Wembley and now that's in doubt!!

Now there may not even be any game that weekend. ,

I then get false hope for a home game in the CL that week and we get PSV away..

FUCK OFF.

( but i am off to the nou camp via my home in Cyprus...happy days...well sort of)

Beat PSV home and away, beat inter at home and we've qualified basically.

Happy with the draw, and Barca is of course a great challenge

Not really. Inter could beat us in Italy then beat PSV home and away and we'd have the same points. We need to get a point away to Inter or Barca or both, I think. I am assuming that Barca will qualify and that the rest of the group will be fighting for the second spot!
