Off the top of my head, this is an U21 team we could put out next season (bear in mind, an over-age GK and 2 over-age outfield players can be added to this team).

Archer
Fredericks Dier Ball McQueen
Veljkovic Lameiras Bentaleb
Ceballos Coulthirst Oduwa
Not a bad team at all!

The likes of Lesniak, Miller, Walker-Peters, Ogilvie, Gomelt, Coulibaly, Winks, Galifuoco and Akindayini not even making the team!

That front 6!

Only thing missing is a real top class striker. Hopefully Harrison can fill that void in a couple of years, and it would be unfair to write off Akindayini at this stage.

I'm going to assume that you're putting CCV with the first team.

As well as CCV, you missed the best prospect of the lot: Josh Onomah, who would get in ahead of Lameiras.

I haven't included any U18s in that team.

Are you trying to make that the best u21 team available from all the players in our squad? If so Id have Kane up front instead of Coulthirst and as I dont think Ceballos would be eligble, push Coulthirst to the wing.

If I was to make my ideal u21 side. Excluding those who would be in and around first team, I would look forward to seeing this.

--------------------Archer-----------
Fredericks--McQueen--Ball--Ogilvie
------------Onomah--Winks-----------
-Oduwa--------Lameiras-----------Coulthirst
------------------Coulibaly---------------

KWP rotated at RB. CCv and CH getting chances. Occasionally Lesniak holding otherwise, midfield would all just interchange, rotating with Miller. Sonupe would rotate with the wingers, with Coulibaly,Coulthirst and Akindayini taking turns as striker. Think Lameiras and Miller can play off the wings too.

Sadly don't think Harrison will get a chance in u21 behind those 3 but along with Goddard is prob the next 16/17 year old who would get a chance in the u21s

----------------- Archer -----------------
Fredericks --- Dier --- Fryers --- Davies
--- Eriksen --- Veljkovic --- Bentaleb ---
-- Lamela ----- Kane ----- Townsend --

Subs: McGee?, Ogilvie, Mason, Carroll, Ceballos, Pritchard*, Coulthirst.

All 23 or under.

Genuinely believe that team could hold their own in the early stages of the Europa League.

*Out on loan.

Has anyone told Eric Dier that Cameron Carter-Vickers is going to take his place in a couple of years?

What place? Doesn't Dier have to prove himself first before been given any place (even on the bench)?
Secondly, should Dier play well enough to establish himself as a regular starter, CCV could form a CB pair with Dier rather than oust him from the team

A very young Eurofoot squad, includes a number of this season's expected new Academy Year 1, including Azzaoui, plus an unknown, possibly http://www.irishfa.com/international/squad-profiles/profile/2799/tom-mcdermott/ and unrelated to John McDermott's ?!.

Probably giving 2 years advantage to some other teams

1 Glover Thomas 24/12/97, current age 16, New Academy Year 1 ?
2 Walker Peters Kyle 13/07/97, 17
3 Maghoma Christian 8/11/97, 16, New Academy Year 1 ?
4 Carter Vickers Cameron 31/12/97, 16, New Academy Year 1 ?
5 Muscatt Joseph 15/12/97, 16, New Academy Year 1 ?
6 Walkes Anton 8/02/97, 17
7 Amos Luke 23/02/97, 17
9 Pritchard Joe 10/09/96, 17
10 Ross Lloyd 14/12/96, 16
11 Goddard Cy 2/04/97, 17
12 Hayford Charlie 29/11/97, 16, New Academy Year 1 ?
13 McDermott Thomas 30/01/98, 16, Status unknown
15 Owens Charlie 7/12/97, 16, New Academy Year 1 ?
16 Georgiou Anthony 24/02/97, 16
