Tremendous news regarding Ugo Ehiogu.

Not because I think he'll be a fantastic coach (I certainly hope he will be) but because I have a cat called Ugo who I can now claim is named after a Spurs member of staff.

Hooray!

Even better if Ugo Ehiogu was named after your cat.

We don't know that he wasn't.

Actually it can't be a coincidence that my cats are called Ledley and Ugo...and our two most recent coaching appointments?

Quick! I need to buy a cat called Messi!

Ryan Mason was a fantastic no 10 in the Academy, scoring about 30 goals in 30 games for 2 successive seasons and was regarded as possibly the best Academy graduate of his generation, before having lots of injuries over a 2-3 yesr period. First saw him playing as a CM in the u21's and he looked very good both in his passing but also not afraid to put his foot in, as well as having a decent shot and free/spot kick in his locker. If he keeps fit, imo he could still be a very decent player for us so hoping that he has a good pre-season and impresses Poch

Totally agree.

B-C has been citing the Schneiderlin interview as evidence for how Poch's coaching could take the excellent raw materials in Bentaleb's game and develop some real defensive positioning and off the ball awareness. Ditto with Mason. He's got bags of ability and has been really unlucky with injuries and loans (that French nightmare! :()

If Mason still has the drive to become a better player and willingness to learn from Poch, then he could be one of those late developers and repay the club's faith in keeping him under contract.

In the Toronto game, Mason was generally tidy, but seized the opportunity to play an incisive forward pass or switch play when it was on. I hope he gets some chances in cup and Europa games this season.

At least 5 of Spurs u21 matches will be played at Stevenage next season - the others will be played at the Training Ground at at least 2 will be at WHL. The Idea of course is to get the u21's used to playing in a stadium (hence Stevenage) and in front of crowds.

I'm expecting to see the u21 fixtures next week.....but sometimes thesee things are weks late so don't shoot the messenger !

did we not sign a young potentially good Australian goalkeeper recently ?
Looked very decent in the tournaments in Dusseldorf and Terborg whenever he was forced into action (which admittedly wasn't all that often!). Very calm with the ball at his feet from what I remember.

Might give that one a miss :ROFLMAO:

Over the moon that people in the club are starting to see what I've been seeing in him :whistle:

Also says it all about Obika (23) that CCV (16) has captained the side ahead of him!

I think we might need the paramedics on standby when he makes his debut or you might not survive it :p

I honestly don't know. It maybe that with the u19 tournament next weekend, CCV has come to this one but won't go to the u19's whilst Maghoma will do the u19's but not this one.

we have to do this mate its part of the youth league rules that you play x amount of games in a stadium/arena whatever you wanna call it. The training ground as amazing as it is does not count.

You seen the developmental team have given away the third shirt design by accident by being photographed in it!?
