we have to do this mate its part of the youth league rules that you play x amount of games in a stadium/arena whatever you wanna call it. The training ground as amazing as it is does not count.

You seen the developmental team have given away the third shirt design by accident by being photographed in it!?
Are you sure it wasn't the black away kit?

Apparently their goal was a result of Alex McQueen making a mistake. And the goal scorer was a 29yo so we were definitely playing some bigger people. Apparently we created the majority of the chances too so not bad with our young team

Im colourblind so I might be seeing it wrong but it looks navy blue and green. I pulled up the black one and the shades look different to me. It was a photo of them playing on twatter.

I could be wrong here buddy!

We don't know that he wasn't.

Actually it can't be a coincidence that my cats are called Ledley and Ugo...and our two most recent coaching appointments?

Quick! I need to buy a cat called Messi!
But then Messi would just become one of our youth coaches!

Yep it's the away kit- looks navy and green to me as well and the kit looks pink so it's just a horrific photo:

It's a filtered photo. Probably run thought Instagram or something. But why are they wearing the away kit and home GK kit?

Probably because stupidly, the away GK shirt is pretty much the same colour as the away shirt itself.

Completely agree re Akindayani and Harrison. Harrison really caught my eye in the Liverpool game, looks very good to me.

I really think Bentaleb could flourish under Pochettino. Carroll should be around the squad as he has good qualities that could also flourish in a quicker tempo game - he looks to move the ball quickly and as incisively as possible - but I've also been quietly impressed with Veljkovic's last two games in the US, it reinforces the bits and pieces I've seen in development games. He seems a cool customer and could solve a problem defensively. I'd like to see Falque and Ceballos given some chances as well. Would have loved to see Pritchard in and around the squad.

I hope that's green instead of yellow. Not that I like it better but I think it's a good idea to have some differentiation between jr. and sr. team uniforms.

I am.

Not that it matters that much either way, just so it will mean just a little more when they make it into the senior team, when they put on the uniform.

Pure gamification. Maybe you're onto something with this idea... 25 appearances - private badge
50 appearances - corporal badge

More achievements the more they get on their kit!

It's not. I've seen other pictures and it's the same kit. I'm pretty sure the kit has to be the same as the senior kit anyway.

Payers (ages in brackets)

Back row: Harry Voss (17), Nathan Oduwa (17), Jon Obika (23), Anton Walkes (17), Dominic Ball (18), Ruben Lameiras (19), Daniel Akindayini (19), Harry Winks (18), Joshua Onomah (17), Tom Glover (16)

Front row: Shaquile Coulthirst (19) , Alex McQueen (19), Will Miller (18), Filip Lesniak (18), Aaron McEneff (18), Emmanuel Sonupe (18), Kyle Walker-Peters (17), Cameron Carter-Vickers (16)

So other than Obika (23), our oldst players are aged 19 (4 of them) with most being aged 17 or 18 other than one 16 year old. A vey young u21 side !

Also it looks like no new players signed from the triallists who played at Southen or Musa Yahaya included in the squad.

Still unconfirmed re: Yahaya, and even if he was isn't he only 16? He may be with the u19s

Agreed - but Yahays has been playing with the Nigerian u20 team (after becoming well known with their u17 team) so I thought he might well play with Spurs u21's - but no rush if he starts with Spurs u19's or even the Spurs u18's and the coaches see how things go - as you say he's 16 so no rush. It may also be that he simply trains for a few weeks oplaying behind closed doors freindlies before going on loan to Celta Vigo.
