I haven't read through the thread, but noticed elsewhere that there was concern as Marcus Edwards removed spurs from his twitter. Been told that John McDermott has made a lot of them remove it until they are in or close to the first team as "they don't play for spurs at the moment' is his attitude haha. I've yet to look but that's from one of the youth players parents.

FYI I believe that @THFCacademy on twitter contributes to that site, so it would just be his opinion or inside knowledge which and his article about who would be the suspected intake as already posted. I doubt the club would release their lists to an unofficial site.

However, whilst also being told the Edwards is there he has also put a pic on his instagram in Spurs training with another player so he has confirmed himself.

Also there was a pic posted on the OS with majority of the scholars looking on

Makes sense and very understandable. Makes it seem as though you have to earn it and not let them get ahead of themselves. I like the idea.

decent write-up in fairness, hopefully gets a prem loan sorted soon.

Which is completely understandable being a US site, wrote some things I didn't even know and was very informative. Not quite sure about their reasoning in the comments section though. Quite fairly somene suggested that Azzaoui and KWP will probably be better players than him. They reasoned he has played a season of MLS football and is a full international, but then that contradicts putting, Alli, Onomah, Pritchard and Edwards ahead of him

Ah,,,I corrected the original list that they had using info from this thread, so its a round robin, the list is what we thought it was ! just hope we were right !

Guess we should find out soon as OS has moved the old first years into second year and old second year into the development squad, so we are just waiting for them to put the first years up http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/academy/first-year-profiles/

#THFC will send an Under-15 team to participate in the Lion City Cup in Singapore next month. http://www.espnfc.co.uk/blog/football-asia/153/post/2518496/spurs-and-liverpool-u15s-set-for-singapore…?

@THFCacademy Spurs will also defend their last years U16 tournament win in South Korea in August. Will probably be same group?

Two tournaments coming up. If we're lucky may get some highlights or even live streams, though the latter is really unlikely. @Spursidol does this go in the preseason thread also

Warm up matches for our new Spurs u16's (Oliver Skipp, Tashan Oakley-Boothe et al) at the start of the season on August 14 in Singapore

@Singaporeanspur I wonder f they will be on local TV ?,

Surely the first one in Singapore will be for our 'current' u14s, so Thorpe, Shashoua, Mukendie (in that addidas pic) and Maghoma though the first two will likely move up, to teh South Korea tournament which las tyear u16s won.

So that will be the TOB, Skipp and Kirby age group, who featured in it last year mind. So may be something @Soulchan can look out for

Yeah, you could be right on that. However I think we'll probably take say 16 players to the Singapore tournament (2 games max) but maybe 20 players to the South Korea Cup (more games) so for both its quite likely that they will take players from 2 if not 3 year groups.

Lion city cup has been going on for awhile but do not recall there ever being live broadcast. There should be decent teams in the cup so too bad I'm no longer based in Singapore or will love to head down for the games.

Not sure if it is oldest but know its been held since early 90s. Competition usually have a mix of u15 and u16 squads and Singapore usually sends both age groups for it. Have seen a mix of European and South American youth teams in it so always a good mix of style for Spurs u15 to play against.

Skipp is an Under-15 at club level, I think. So the year below Kirby and TOB.

Why do you say that? I know he was included in the u15 squad for the 14/15 season but not in the pic. However, he played the entire season for u15s and sometimes u16s, as well as captained Eng u15s last year so may be one of the young Eng u15s and rated highly enough to play two age groups up.

This a team we entered for an Under-14s tournament last season, featuring Skipp. http://www.zender-talents-cup.de/teams.html

Ye that's what I was referring to when I mentioned squad list, but he isn't in that picture. The number of players doesn't correspond to the number in the list plus another player is mentioned but I'm pretty sure isn't there so I don't know how accurate it is. It's possible that Skipp may have just been playing up all this time but then for that he would be rated higher than Kirby and TOB.

Ah, okay. I was surprised when I read it. Makes more sense that he's in the same group as TOB and Kirby.
