So the first warm up match is over with England winning. Strauss, Pietersen & Bell looking good. Another failure for Cook and Collingwood looking uneasy at the crease.

Does Cook deserve to keep his place? He's so easily worked out nowadays.

Who do you think will end up top run scorer and wicket taker? And your prediction for overall

Cook deserves his place purely because there is no one in the squad capable of opening. I think Adam Lyth will get a go as opener next summer if Cook has a poor series.

I think England will take an early series lead, but the Aussies will come back and force a draw. At least one match will be severely weather affected. I think we will crush them in the ODI's.

Yep his head is so far away from the line of ball that it's inevitable that he's going to nick it.

Too late now though. I suppose we could push Trott up to open (he's practically opening anyway with the Cook's form)

Both allow the creation of leagues. Sky sports had one in 2009 but no signs so far.

Cook is so out of form its unreal, like someone else said he gets his head so far outside off-stump it's just a matter of time before he nicks one behind. Adam Lyth should be the next opener in line seeing as Carberry hasn't been able to fly out with the performance squad but I cant see the selectors bringing in a young debutant in a series like this.
