Anyone have Isaac Hayes?

Sad loss of a influential disco legend mother... shut your mouth!

Another good reason for avoiding the gym - found dead next to his running machine, health freak diets etc.

I don't think anyone had Sir Billy Cotton Jnr or actor Terence Rigby and I suppose many SCers won't even have heard of them but they've just died too.

Scary to think I can remember bandleader Billy Cotton Snr! Jnr was Head of BBC Light Entertainment for many years. Died aged 80.

And Terry was a friend of the old man for many years although they lost contact a while back. A fine character actor over many years on TV and in films, he shared a flat in the West End with a really close friend of the old man (David Sinclair, another actor) for years until he had to move out as David decided to get married and the wife was moving in! David, long divorced and almost destitute, died a while back too, from alcohol-related illness. Alarming how these old drinking pals are dying off like flies... Terry was 71.

Yep. Both Cosmic and Houdini got that one, so the table is now updated on the first post of this thread.

They've both won 200v and can you both PM me with your replacements please?

I've posted a tribute in chat. I'm sad because I loved Paul Newman but he did have a fairly good innings after all.

RIP Paul.

Do we start with a clean slate in the New Year or do our lists carry over? I need to shake things up a bit because I seem to have only listed people who enjoy magnificent health...

 Tell me about it! Ever since i made my list, all the nominees have had miraculous recoveries or have found better doctors!

 Perhaps if we could repopulate our lists we could sell places on them to celebrities who are getting on a bit as a kind of insurance policy? Our record of keeping these people alive is pretty good so far after all...

It's magical! However, I think one on my list is about to depart this mortal toil... perhaps within the next few months.
