Two games played last night with a win for Forest and draw between Sunderland and Derby. I watched the latter and think both teams will be up there this season. I also quite fancy Sheff Wed to challenge and Boro to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. My old local team, Brentford, might be dark horses for a play off spot. Should be a good one I reckon.

Future step father in law is a Brentford fan. I hope they do well. I would like to get to a few games this season. Only up the road from me

Nice little stadium with a pub on each corner. Whereabouts do you live? I lived for years in Northfields and Boston Manor. Lovely part of town.

Outrageously strong league yet again this year. I'm by no means an expert, but I only see a half dozen or so teams who'd have no prospect/ambition to finish top 6+.

Brentford - Bristol City (2-2)

BC score in 5 minutes. Brentford score 2. 9 minutes extra time... 90+8 BC scores, ends 2-2. Grim way to start & end a game.

Leeds look like front runners this season. New manager has them playing exceptionally well. My tip for Champions and Prem next season.

The new owner got so much stick for hiring a Danish coach who had only been manager in Cyprus that despite Leeds' rather scummy fanbase it's good to see two fingers being thrown at the establishment "pundits" ... yet again.

It's hard to overstate how much Brum fucked themselves when they sacked Rowett. First Zola, now 'Arry. Big names don't equal good managers in that league.
