I do feel a bit for Bancroft. Obviously shouldn't have done it, but as a junior player, very difficult to say no when pressure is being put on from above.

Warner though, is a disgrace, and an utter cad.

Look at Amir, I see what he’s done since he came back from being a naive young lad and I just look at the senior members of that squad and think you were complete arseholes.
Same applies to Bancroft, smith and warner need to just disappear in my opinion.

TBF this series would have been scheduled well over a year ago, there's no way they would have known :D

The worrying thing is that Warner being such an obnoxious turd seems to be deflecting from Smith's ****ness. Warner didn't have his arm up Smith's arse working him like a ventriloquist's dummy when he classlessly sat and smirked his way through several Ashes press conferences and for a while Smith's behaviour was totally unbecoming of the captain of any team let alone the Australian cricket team.

So while I hope Warner never plays again and Smith eventually comes back, if he ever captains them again it's a fucking disgrace IMO. Warner 'took' Bancroft with him and maybe Lehmann, but Smith? Nah. Fish faced ****.
You are correct about Smith with some of his pressers. Very unprofessional. And he will never, ever captain the country again. That has been set in stone. As a captain he wasn't fit to lace Steve Waugh's shoes.

Several months on, what's the view over there regarding the caterpillar faced **** known as David Warner?

Still vitriolic I hope :D

It’s in the Australian nature.
The same nature breeds winners in their sport and they punch above their weight for a relatively small population but they have no class or decency when playing sport imo
That's a very broad statement. So we have no decency in sport? Really?
Whilst your on the "sledging" train, do you really think we are the only country in world cricket to throw comments around? Do you think the South Africans are quiet? Do you think your own team are as quiet as mice. No chance.

Who?

TBH he has somehow kept out of the spotlight, probably due to it being footy season. Lets wait till the summer. My own thoughts haven't changed.

I don’t think Australia are the only team that sledges but they are the ones who consistently go to far with it

All true BUUUUUUUT, whilst there is undoubtably sledging going on from pretty much all cricketing countries, that doesn't make where your team took it right, there's only one country who are consistently in the news for taking it way too far. There's only one countries team who set themselves up as judge and jury as to what is and isn't acceptable or 'where the line' is, a line which, it seems, is a lot further to the north for themselves than it is for other teams.

Australian teams like to play hard, that's fine, but a part of that got blurred, slowly at first but it went on and on until it was ripe for the kind of characters who eventually went too far with it. Now it's all come out on top and you're going to get comments about 'decency', I don't agree with them but it's understandable that you're going to get them. I'm not saying you have to like it, but hey, what did you expect? :D

This is something that the overwhelming number of decent Australians are going to have to carry around with them for a long time and TBH that's probably the biggest shame of all, how its affected a lot of decent people.

You cheating ****s :playful:

Not sure where you get the whole 'nobody is interested' bollocks. I'd suggest an almost full house at Old Trafford would suggest otherwise.

What you mean is, you aren't interested, which is fine.

And no they couldn't just reschedule a match on the basis that some other sporting event is taking place.

Great leave by Agar.

Ball heading straight for middle and off

Shoulders arms.

Ball hits middle and off.

That's physics for you.

Decimation.

I'm currently sitting in Ian Ward's studio set chair, watching the football on the studio monitors :)
