good to see that England burying their heads in the sand and pretending the last test was a 'blip' has worked.

Does anyone actually expect more from Root? The bounce is a poor excuse since he dangled at a completely leaveable ball

It’s a good ball on a good length. With the angle he’s bowling at I think he has to look to play it

Absolute brute of a ball. Has got to go down as unlucky as opposed to a poor shot

Maybe at the top of his game and If he’s 30no he can possibly leave it but it would still be a great leave (Bairstow has left a few beauties today but looks in 'the zone'

Have to be honest guys, yes it's a brutal ball, yes he's very unlucky and there is very little he can do once he's committed to playing a shot, but the more replays I see I am thinking why's he playing at that anyway. Just let the ball sail through to the keeper on that line......

That's being very picky, but this team deserves to be picked apart to the nth degree at the moment. If some more of them applied themselves better, demonstrated some patience, didn't need to feel bat on ball every delivery, could leave well, set a platform etc etc. you'd have a bit more sympathy when they do get good balls on tricky pitches.

Haha! That ball was as close to unplayable as you can get mate, think that's extremely harsh.
It's unplayable so don't play it. It just looked so Root-like where anything chest high and he shits himself. In a vacuum that 1 ball is a bit of a freak but it sums him up at the minute imo.
Anyway Captain Random Ali is back at it again lol

England is still 194 runs behind the West Indies despite having lost 14 more wickets than them.

He couldn’t not play it! Watch it from side on, it was a standard forward defensive.

Another cracking day in the Caribbean for England. Jesus! Pitch played tough early on, but look at Denleys shot. You can change the players, but get the same outcome. Gotta get better tomorrow.

Anyone have any idea why the dulcet tones of Micheal holding are missing from Commentary especially seeing as it's his home series so to speak..

See you in May once again Antigua my happy place.
