I cant believe there hasnt been more discussion about my ITK

The two boys are at Plymouth's game tonight, so providing they are happy with what they have seen today, thats them off and maybe the young centre half coming back the other way.

Big news imo

Besides, I've met a lot of mods/RRs and they would struggle to get a job stacking shelves at Sainsburys, let alone have links with the club.

Name names please

I thought it was more of a reference to the fact it is renewed daily.

Surely by that logic the opening post should be deelted as it contains yesterdays ITK?

Or at least name it, ITK roundup 9/8 and todays ITK 10/8 ONLY.

That would make more sense.

Logic makes brains explode, didn't you know this?

Oh and squashed clearly means that Crouchy's move is off.

Re Ryantegan's latest, there seems to be a lot of personal opinion in there. Can't really see Harry divulging "I like Huntelaar but we haven't really got room for him at the moment, it's a possible loan with a view to a permanent move, but we'd have to move one of Keane or Pavlyuchenko out, there's still a long way to go on this" for example.

Interesting from Ryantegan. If what he says about Man City is true then at least one positive to come out of that is us being perfectly within our rights to tell them to do one if they even think about trying to poach any of our players.

Craig Bellamy : I'll start here because its all over the press now anyway. Harry really wants Bellamy and Bellamy does want to come to Spurs, But Man City are doing an awful lot of ignoring Tottenham at the moment. I think he is available for loan to pretty much everyone, bar us. In fact from what Harry has been told by Bellamy's people, Citeh are even prepared to subsidise his wages. As it stands any deals with Citeh are highly unlikely to be done before 31st August if at all. Might be he ends up somewhere like Bolton or Everton.

Which provides a potential explanation for Bellamy's "I may retire" and "I've turned down clubs like Wolfsburg" outburst today.

In other words, reading between the lines, Man Shitty's filthy rich owners see us as a direct rival and will not sell or loan to us as they don't need the money.

They will try to offload players who don't make their 25-man squad to clubs that they don't perceive as CL qualification rivals - eg Bolton.

If Citeh really are not looking to sell to us, lets move the fuck on. Honestly, this is an amature club with money we are dealing with, did we expect anything less with Cook in charge ? Were Tottenham, were a Champions League club, we have a history that wasnt bought for us, and we have some class, we should certainly not be continuing to knock on Citeh's door for their players.

This is it in a nutshell, even if they were considering selling him to us, the kind of character that Bellamy is, who thrives on rubbing people's noses in it, they would NEVER do so before the first game of the season when we play them.

I think the point is that Bellamy would have been a great option for that left side without breaking the bank. If we 'move on' then we're talking about Young etc which means alot more cash.

Obviously I'm not saying we should pursue Bellamy to the ends of the earth but it's not as easy as 'just move on' particularly if we've got other targets we also need to splash the cash on.

that fair cop but what gets me about spurs is everyone knows our business.. from outsider looking in and call me cynical if u want lol but there is such a lack of respect and dignity between clubs these days its untrue.. such two faced stuff going on its shocking but thats life eh? why does everyone know our business. dont give me stuff about been a plc and all that garbage,,, the way we should be doing business is one like that was done with modric. no itk had wind at all of it and it was great to see it done and dusted without been dragged out in media for weeks and weeks... and especially thats way it should be done more and more cs there is so much money and owners coming in with new money that it makes it so hard cos for example if harry found a gem over in brazil at moment and media and itk gets wind of it then where is he going to end up.. where money is.. maybe agents get to those money clubs but it is so important to identify player and then get deal done and dusted so quick before anyone else can get sniff. if player is waiting on others then fuck him off.. not the player we want. united doing it for ages with likes of brazilian boys and now hernadex.. no fannying about. signed and done..

Just got back from 5 a side, and thought I'd log on and see if there was any more ITK (hope springs eternal). Then low and behold Ryantegan looks as if he's milked his boss for everything he's worth!!!!!!

After reading all that, it looks like we are STILL no closer to signing anyone!

I know there are still about 3wks left before the window shut, so I'm not panicing yet, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slighty curious as to what might happen come August 31st!

I think we should have figured this out with Man City long before now, given our best offer if they said no, move on. There are other targets out there and City look to be moving the goalposts on us so to speak so let them carry all that extra wages for nothing.

Also don't the rules change next year and would force Man City to sell off some of their players to balance their books? The Pompey rule or something to that effect? Granted I am sure other clubs would be more than happy to pick up some of these players if City subsidizes their wages but I have never known a businessman who didn't want the most money he or she could get for their assets as long as we aren't named Man United.

to be fair, if you saw it from my point of view, you would understand. My boss is very similar to Harry in every way almost. He comes back to me and we have a conversation. All i have tried to do on all my updates is try to relay the info as much word for word that i can. I find its far less confusion for everyone.

My boss and harry are very very close. My boss gave harry a summer job, whilst the players were on the off season. He used to lump washing machines around the east end to get himself tied over until pre season. I cant think of anyone else aside from Sandra that Harry would open up to, and thats the truth.

Not surprised City won't sell to us. Why should they? We're their rivals now, like it or not, and they don't need money.

Villa, on the other hand, is suddenly looking ripe for the picking.
