The recent purple patch of ITK continued yesterday and there was even a late night rush to contend with, which is always nice. Especially when cryptics aren't involved, yesterday however we weren't so lucky.

I split up with the Mrs last night. She said I think about football more than i think about her.

I was devastated , I've been with her 6 seasons

Right, on with the ITK, starting with............

It just tripped off his tongue....literary gold. On the plus side, it wasn't cryptic........

And he wasn't finished there, oh no, not long later, in a post he called 'bap bap americano'..........

Good song

Update :
Am looking to learn to dance.

Anyone got a style that might be good?

Seriously? You've taken to rehashing cryptics from previous windows?
Bap fucking bap? Yeah, i've got a style of dance that's good, it's called the Foxtrot Oscar and I hope that's not too cryptic for you.

Then I'll bap bap your mum.

The leaves on the tree rustled, a couple of crows shot off their perches and guess whose face broke through the branches wearing a beaming smile?

Told rio is def on Arry wants him big time. Will happen it seems
Not that long ago there would have been mass fapping at the prospect but now that delusions of granduer have set in............

Ryan promised he'd be back with more and he was as good as his word. Most un-ITK-like.......

Just to add to what I wrote earlier

Drogba and falcao are both realistic targets, but both come with stumbling blocks. Drogba would need to instigate the move as far as Chelsea are concerned and even then, the feeling is that they would refuse a move to another English club. He would also want an awful lot of money. Were working on it

Falcao is a bit more intresting. By all accounts in comes down to brinkmanship. They want around 27m euros. We want him. Arsenal want him. Teams from Spain and Italy do also. However we see the goons as the main rivals. I think we are trying to avoid a heads up. They also want benzema. If they get him the coast would seem clear for falcao. We would then be able to drive a harder bargain. I don't think we are being tight, were just looking at which option is gonna work out most viable

Leandro will sign. However we have asked to be kept abreast of the wickham situation.
Abreast  Love that word.........

Leandro not done. Can't say any more

And he didn't. Said what he had to say and got out. Are you watching POTL?

we arent "in" for him bu have asked to be kept informed if any developments with his availablity.

Villa dont want him to leave and want him to commit to a new contract- i believe he has 2 years left. If he doesnt commit Villa may make him available and thats when we want to be told

So now we know where we stand on that

And then he came back and gave us an encore

we are desperately trying for Rossi but Barca is his favoured destination>> Barca want Fabregas still but will only sign one major signing this window im told..
No idea on Ferdinand/Samba
Falcao old news and no doubt would love him but unlikely
Leandro hinging on 3rd party ownership
Drogba- heard nothng but would love it!!!
Wickham - same as before interested but not if we get the brazilian

And that set us up nicely for the weekend.

Can we at least have one day which isn't filled with pointless guesses about cryptics? I'm not holding my breath.

I dropped a bit of a bollock yesterday..................

My grandson was playing out with his friend

He ran into the house and said 'Grandad, what's it called when two people are sleeping in the same bedroom and one is on top of the other?'

I was a bit shocked, but took a deep breath and decided to tell him the truth. 'Well, son, it's called sexual intercourse.'

'Oh' he said, 'OK' and went back outside to play.

A few minutes later he came back in and said angrily, 'Grandad, it isn't called sexual intercourse. It's called bunk beds. And my mates Mum wants to talk to you.'

Have a nice weekend and we'll be back on Monday

To be honest, i'm struggling to come up with new ways of asking for a small donation to the site. I was going to say something about leaving it to each indivuals conscience but most of you lot haven't got one. So instead, imagine a world without SC. No SC, no ITK and no cryptics........yes, there would no longer be cryptics.......wait a minute.........

2 of Falcao, Rossi and Drogba would be incredible, but what two would we have?

Anyone else get the feeling we're gonna be scrambling about on 31st August again? Hoping for some scraps from someone?

I'm sure we will be. It's the Spurs way. Saying that I'm quite confident that we'll get most of our business done before the season starts and hopefully we'll just be sniffing around for last minute bargains on deadline day.

It just feels we are being left behind by Liverpool and Man U. Chelsea will start soon too. But the good thing is, Arsenal have problems.

2 of Falcao, Rossi and Drogba would be incredible, but what two would we have?

First two for me. With their movement and the creativity of vdV, Modric, Bale, Lennon and Hudd, we'd absolutely tear teams apart. The movement and intelligence of the pair of them would be such a contrast to anything we've seen at WHL for the last 3 years.

Leandro as a 3rd striker could then provide a more physical option.

Falcao, Rossi and Leandro = arguably the best strikeforce in the league and all in their early 20s (Falcao being the oldest at 25).

£60-65m outlay, at least £40m of which can be recouped by selling 8-10 deadwood players.

That would be the dream summer anyway.

They may be doing business, but I can't say I'm impressed by the quality of players they are bringing in - Henderson, Jones and Young are solid rather than next level players for them.

As long as they aren't buying the strikers we're looking at I'm not worried. In fact it might be a good thing if they spend their cash early and give us a clearer run at our tagets.

I agree the the sentiment that this feels like it might be a lastminutescramble of a window.

And don't anyone dare tell me 'yeah, but it's very early in the window' ffs!
It's not early, it's two transfer windows overdue!!!
