Morning chaps (and chap-esses).

Let's hope for a marvellous, rather than a mundane, Monday.

Not getting my hopes up though, but at least JJ popped in to temper the spiralling negative feelings a little last night.

Morning all. I guess the likely big news of the day will come this evening to see if Berahino plays. We wait and see.

@Archibald&Crooks if you get any goat bleats today it might be worth saving them till around 7:30pm just incase!!

Don't think there's any doubt on that at all.

Ha ha I like the way you say that straight away now a&c before we have ten pages of guesses

As been said I guess tonight will be interesting but even if he plays doesn't change anything really as might be a farewell game etc and nothing has been signed yet. Still got a feeling n'jie will sign out of nowhere when we least expect it. Either way got a feeling something will and must happen this week

Could just do with some fresh ITK really
Some confirmation of deals would be nice, but not expecting any, just another day of stealth reading SC when I should be working.

Berahino plays, scores a hat trick and City (so impressed) bid for him just as he is taking the second part of his medical at Hotspur Way.

If Berahino plays I'm hoping for one of those sulky, disinterested Berbatov-esque performances.

In all seriousness, if he has anything about him, he will be looking to impress City who are rumoured to be interested. I'd actually be disappointed if he reacted in any other way.

Well if he plays which I think he will do then rumours of him having part one of a medical cannot be true. I don't think this deal is that far down the road yet

Lets be fair Willian had a medical with us and didn't sign so it doesn't mean anything.

PhyisoRoom said:
The first part of the medical will be undertaken by the club doctor, who will ascertain the player's medical history during the subjective examination. In the case of a foreign player, it may be necessary for the player's agent and/or interpreter to be present.

The club doctor will check for any previous significant illnesses and ask if the player has had any operations in the past. In addition, the doctor will check the family history of the player, which may be indicative of hereditary conditions.

Apart from major illnesses or operations, the doctor will check for past sporting injuries, which should be recorded in the player's medical file, made available by the selling club. This will give a picture of how often the player has missed training or matches and if the player has had any recurrent injuries such as hamstring strains or ankle sprains.

First part of a medical is basic and the clubs would probably allow this if close to a fee. If he failed this part there would be no point progressing it further. Even if he plays tonight as Rondon isn't likely to start I still think he could sign for us any time soon.

If JJetsets happy I'm happy...

I'm sure any Berahino delay is simply due to Rondon receiving international clearance first.
